    Jim
Check out Redfeather shoes, I have had mine for over 10 years and my Wife has had hers about 4, no problems with them at all. Tour Seven Sports in Rapids sells them. They are located on Chestnut St. Hope this helps you.

I was canoeing in the Boundary waters in northern Minn. with a very good friend. He always brings a little radio along so he can hear that days news. I always tell him that I do not want to hear any outside news as I go there to get away from eveything. That night as we were laying in our tent he asked me if I wanted to hear some news of which I told him no.. He replied that I probably really wanted to hear it as I have a Son that was active military at the time and thought I might be concerned. When I finally said yes I could not believe what I was hearing. The next morning we paddled out so we could contact our families and to watch the news on T.V.

Every September my Wife and I go to her hometown in the U.P. for a fall camping trip with her family. Last year when we were there we took her two Nephews out caching or (treasure hunting). We let them make all the finds by dirrecting them to the right locations. We also let them take turns by swaping out treasures in each cache. We all had so much fun and by the end of the day they were both pretty tired out. Recently her one nephew came down for our wedding and when I asked him what he wanted to do, he said go treasure hunting.. Future cacher? I am not sure but he sure had fun last summer. 😀

in reply to: Geocoins and Tavelbugs a rarity now? #1952747

We have a few out there but the ones that we can make good copies of, we do, even the copies seem to go missing. Weather it is people not knowing how to log them properly or people stealing them, they end up missing. Like it was said coins can sometimes be expensive so it is very disappointing when they go missing.
