We have never noticed a long time transpiring for a FTF, but it has been at least 3 months since anyone has gone looking for our “On A Wing & A Prayer” cache, here in the Rapids. 😥

I agree with the concern about the hole being too close to the edge of the tag. I would drill/punch a new hole, probably in the upper left quadrant, a bit further from the edge, to alleviate that concern.
