I couldn’t be happier for the you guys. I think everyone will agree that you make a great couple.

Now you will have to decide on a new team caching name.

Wat to go Matt! You ever do anything but cache??? 😀

Doubtful. 😀 See his current streak of 168 days caching? I’m at 40 myself and will likely stop after this week. I need to start placing some more caches of my own!

Thanks! I was scanning through the threads and just spotted this one with my name in the title.

My streak has come to an end!! I did not attempt any caches today, so unless a new cache appears and I find it within the next hour and eight minutes, my streak will end at a few days over 6 months. I have cleared out almost all of the caches in Milwaukee, Racine, and Kenosha counties and I have to drive between 30 and 40 miles west or north to find areas with cache clusters. I just decided to let the streak die on my own terms.

See…..I’m not addicted. I didn’t even need an intervention.

November 4th is almost two months down the road. You’ll get more “will attend” logs as the date nears. It sounds like a lot of fun but I’ll have to wait about a month before I will know if I will be able to make it.

Here are a few pics. Sorry, I don’t have my Vince pics yet. At least we got to meet one of 3 Hawks’ relatives. 😆

Ranger Boy e-mailed me the coords to the third WP of Egyptian Magician.

I’m going to start doing a drive by find on all missing caches that have been archived. Hey, I got close enough so it’s a find…right??

in reply to: Pizza 8/30 #1878264

Sounds like a lot of fun. Sorry I missed out on the parking tickets 😆 !!

The Egyptian Magician is out of commission for a while. The second WP has some technical issues and the only way past is if someone who already found the final shares the coords to the third WP.

Of the three previously deleted finds, Johnny was notified of the deletions 8/8 and he has not complained, whimpered, sighed or contested the action in any way. I take that as a defacto admission of guilt.

Guilt is such an ugly word. Lets just say his lack of response as a defacto admission of being a jerk.

Then again, I’ve visited a few out of the way caches that had not seen visitors for 6 months and found “lost” TB’s sitting there waiting to be brought back to life. One was a TB that started out in Italy and had been missing for almost a year. I don’t know how it made it’s way to WI, but it didn’t walk/swim/fly here all by itself.

Why are some people so intent on spoiling the game for others? I guess it is just a commentary on the state of morality in general.

Let’s find these evil little kleptomaniacs and burn their GPSr’s.

Check this one out. What in the World Cache? by Ghosthunter (GC6D43)

I recommended this one to a geography teacher and his kids had a lot of fun with it.

I’ve actually logged “Four Window’s” along with a few other German caches while I was laid up after knee surgery. “Go Trebi Go” was another web cam cache that I completed.

I’m not the biggest fan of “armchair caches,” but they satisfied my caching urges when I was not able to get out.

Dieses ist mein Hut! That is the extent of my non-cursing German.

    “I know nothing!”

Like we didn’t already know that! 😯

Not to mention that many cachers are simply disgusting examples of humanity and touching the cache or the log, after they had it in their hands, could lead to some nasty disease. 😯

I always sign the log or leave a piece of paper with my name and date on it. I’ve made long trips back to the car to grab a pen and I’ve resorted to other means to leave a “mark” in the log as a last resort.

This is just my opinion and this is just my practice, but I don’t think requiring a signature in the log book is sooooo out of line. If you choose not to leave a “mark” then don’t be surprised if your log gets deleted. The owner has every right to delete questionable logs.

You have already gone through the trouble of hiking to GZ and you’ve already found the cache. Why wouldn’t you sign the log?

Back to the original topic. I wondered about the questionable logs when they first posted. They just seemed odd and the detour to grab some Milwaukee caches seemed nuts. I think it even rained the day/night in question and that only added to the mystery.
