I went months before I found my first Jeep in “the wild.” Now I run into about one a month.

The Ecorangers “Jeep TB Hotel” has a white, a yellow three green Jeeps waiting to be discovered or traded. It is a Jeep only Hotel, so don’t try to swap any old TB for a Jeep. You don’t need a Jeep TB to visit but you need one to grab a Jeep out.

Thanks for the input. I’ve applied a topical and I’m already taking an antibiotic. It is a very small blister and it has not started to weep. It no longer tingles, so I hope it will just clear up in the next few days.

I should have been wearing my gloves. I’ll have to do a better job of identifying and avoiding the nasty stuff to avoid a much worse exposure.

I’ve seen some nasty scaring on people and I’ve heard horror stories. I don’t want to chance it again.

    Thanks again.

I’m just glad they are getting them out this way. I went 4 months last year before I found my first Green Jeep.

Since there are three members of 3 Hawks, can I request three Red Jeep TB’s?

Oops! I see this has already been posted in the announcements. Sorry.

Load and go is all I do. I just pick a starting cache and give it hell. After the first cache, I don’t know where I’m off to next. No autorouting and no maps. I just go where the magic arrow points.

Of course, my starting cache will be in a highly cache rich area. That way I can’t help running into a cache any direction I head. 20 in 4 to 5 hours is no problem in most areas where you have not already depleted the numbers.

If you can’t find areas where there are 30 or more caches concentrated within a few miles; locate smaller pockets of caches in county parks. Grab 4 or 5 in one park and head to the next park. Repeat as many times as the sun and/or the park hours allow.

Check this Indiana event out: “Walk the Walk and ‘Cache On'” (GCMJKY). What are they doing? Those Godless cheaters!!! Lets hang them all!!! Does anyone have some rope?

Wait!!! What about this Kentucky event: “3rd Annual October Fest @ Windy Rock” (GCT5QH)? I think I’m going to be sick….. How could they do this to us?? Have they no morals or ethics. Lets excommunicate them from the caching community, flog them, get them to sign admissions of guilt, and then hang them!!!!

Now that sounds like a party!!!!! We could even make it an official event where we could log each hanging as an attended “event.” 😈 😈

I think cheezehead should change his caching name to “tick bait”.

There must be some explanation for the tick bloom this year. Are tick population booms cyclical?

I know that on most population growth charts, you will see logarithmic growth spurts followed by large die-offs and lower populations in subsequent years. Could the high numbers this year be a sign of better years to follow?

Just think…she is a role model to today’s young women. What 16 year old girl wouldn’t give anything to be Paris Hilton?

Let her rot. That would make her an example to the delusional kids who see the famous get away with murder (figuratively and quite literally at times). Take away everything she treasures and she would be quite sad to behold.

Do you think she has a conscious or a even a soul?

I guess I must stink like greyhounder because I’ve only seen one tick this spring and it had just fallen out of a pine tree onto my arm. I’ve only had to have two ticks pulled in my whole life.

Maybe they sense that I’m semi-immune to Lyme disease since I take one Doxy every day for an eye condition.

Now if I could only find a way to be less desirable to mosquito’s! I have the nastiest reaction to mosquito bites. My wife doesn’t seem to be bothered my mosquito’s or their “bites”.

there is a new one in Oconomowoc that will fit the bill… Trouble with your Auto-routing GC13GJD

Thanks Lb7!! I’ll have to check it out after I get back from Indy.

How about a non-binding referendum on the issue to see what the greater WI caching community thinks.

You can’t keep patching a leaky roof forever. Eventually, you have to tear off what’s there to see and repair the damage.

I like the Big Cheese’s idea. Raffles are always fun. There would still be an incentive to hunt the temps for those who need an incentive. Not all of us need an incentive to hunt temps, but anything that makes them more attractive to a broader section of the geocaching community is great. We don’t want to exclude anyone from the fun.

I guess there are a lot of fun things that could be done with the temps, like the previously mentioned poker runs. We just need to think outside the box a bit to make temps something really special.

Those who want to hunt the temps will have the opportunity and those who don’t want to hunt the temps can socialize all they want.

As long as I can still have my cake, brats, beer, cheese, and fun; I’ll be happy.

Thanks Doc. To add the ‘S’ or not to add the ‘S’? That was the question I kept asking myself. Once again, I chose incorrectly. Me spel badley. You smart, me dumb.

How do you spell blepheritis? I think my spelling is barely phonetic.

OK, I will only share my Doxy if I’m stranded with a potentially infected cacher, on a remote island, with no chance of rescue. Whose up for getting stranded on an remote island in the boundary waters with me?

Lyme resistance. Hummmm….at least I got that going for me. Does that make me some kind of tick fighting super hero? Do I have any other super powers related to Doxy that I should know about?

What are you doing up so early? I though Doctors slept until 10am and knocked off at 2:00 pm on Fridays.
