I never was a fan of WordPress. All the forums that I’m a regular at all use the phpBB software and it is so easy to navigate. Finding each section of the board was a snap.

Perhaps, but nobody could maintain or manage it. I really don’t want to do this forever, and nobody else is volunteering.
That being said, I agree. As an intermediate step, I had to upgrade the forums to phpBB 3. Loved it.

The font size is bit tiny for old eyes, may have to get stronger reader cheaters.

I agree. Somewhere between the quoted text and the normal text… It’s on the list.

What happened to the old thread stealers thread? Was it too big to import into the new site?

Yes and no. All the posts imported, but won’t display correctly. I will see if I can put the old TS thread back in the list but as “read only”.

Yeah, 2000 is very Impressive! But have you ever had the Liberty of caching in a Suburban place on Satur(n)day?

One of these year I will do this. However right now I would have a difficult time minimizing my camping gear to keep me and the family happy and still have room for beer. I think once John can walk well enough to carry a twelve-pack we’ll make a go of it!

just have to minimize the packing or get a boat to use.

EXCELLENT example TS, when I play golf(once or twice a year) I count when I swing and miss the ball as I intended to hit it and it counts, I only do this because I want to know what I have actually done. I usually get high score(does that mean I win, yes cause I had fun) likewise I like to keep track of caches I have done even if soooo many others have more caches than me(does that mean I win, yes because I had fun!!). I personally prefer to log multiple attends as I found several geocaches that others had opportunity to find, but that’s an opinion.

Note: 97 in 9 holes the first time I went golfing.

..so you might want to bring along some “stuff” for them unless you don’t mind them playing with rocks. Although they were quite fun last year!!

thank you, as parents my wife and i try. my children are 11 and 12 but will play with other ages. as for something to play with, a frisby, football, kickball, mit and baseball would all be great. my wife says a kite might work. although most boys will find sticks, rocks, and dirt are all great toys .

I heard the corkscrew works best for this. although we have always had the children use plastic grocery or burlap bags to catch/trap them.

just sitting on the couch eating laack’s horseradish cold pack cheese on crackers and drinking Lienenkugels apple spice beer and checking the boards when i thought of this board. looking forward to camping and having a reasonable sized campfire (6ft or more). at this time one child wants to go again and the other isn’t sure if he wants to because of “stinky” toilets.

I bought four and gave three to the others in my house as Christmas gifts. I plan to take mine to events and (do the thing i thought i never would)let others log it and take it back home. I think it would disappear too fast (with the unactivated coin on eBay selling for $18). I told the others in my house that they might want to consider doing the same. by the way the coins are very cool!! thanks to all involved!!!

My preference is for the 23-25 of June and we would be willing to share what ever site DCExplorer is on. at this point it would probably be my self and can’t sit still. I will check with along 4 the ride and allergic to housework. allergic to house work would like me home on fathers day to possibly visit our fathers.
