Good point — Wanted to do something that was state related but not already on another coin.
[/B]one of the state animals is a whitetail deer, that may look good, maybe a bust of one instead of the whole body . the quarter had a desgin propesd with a whole body. what would be the chances of getting that artwork released? http://www.wdfi.org/newsroom/wi_quarter/otherProposed.htm
Hey, you geocachers that are a caneist or kayakers, that http://www.wi-paddrs.net looks pretty good. I am glad I checked out the cahses around the Eel as I like to do both as well as geocaching. I am a transplant from Green Bay to Indiana. I like your message board. I hope you don’t mind me trespassing. I don’t want to take a beating when I come back every year to visit relatives. The Rock of Ages.

WHAT?! Is there a point to this question? If you have a jeep and want to hold onto it, then do it. Log it in and out of every cache you visit…who really cares? It’s just another travel bug isn’t it? (How many people did I irritate w/ this post?..again, who cares?!)
That would be why it is called the “Meaningless Question Of The Day” or MQOTD there is no point, it is purely for humor content or lack thereof.

But they are useful to some people for more than starting a campfire. I too have put toys and other useful items with a business name on them in caches and didn’t look at that as advertising, just some free stuff.

I don’t mind the geocachers cards with team names in fact some are interesting, the only two I ever took were a Trudy and the beast magnet card (on the fridge still) and a get out of hell free card that I thought was neat. I logged both times that I took the cards even though I wasn’t sure if I was suppose to take the t&b magnet. if it was a mistake, I thought they would email me and I would put it back (local cache).
the business that leave an advertising type cards are questionable(I suppose you can write off the mileage to cache, gps, computer, and Internet connection under an advertising expense … now were did my wife put her home business cards??), but the real problem I have is with cards that advertise adult content or adult businesses. this is a family game.

I think the bunny likes playing with matches, but I prefer my torch
I don’t read gc’s board as it didn’t impress me with the whiners that complain about the most ridiculous things, case in point.
so if we submit a bunch of super easy drive-by micro’s before an event and archive them after it would be OK? or how about we hold 20 events .1 miles from each other?(not that they woiuld get approved) ok now i’m being ridiculous.
could you please pass me some firewood?

a couple hundred miles southeast near North Manchester in Wabash Co., Indiana on the Eel River between Laketon and RoAnn there are about 5 to 6 cashes you can find along the river. The eel is a easy canoeing river as long as it is not in flood stage. Too Far?
i think you should be able to log each temp cache as another find or “attend” if you want to. It’s not much different than some multis that you can log each leg as a find as long as there is a log book in each leg. (like door county challenge). if the people whinning about numbers at events are upset, they can come discuss it in person at the next event we have.
both of my kids hit 100 (can’t sit still, and along 4 the ride)
hint: It’s in valders
I got one at the GB event, before that there was one white jeep in a 100-mile radius from Manitowoc. I plan on taking some pictures and putting it in a cache after that to give others the chance to get it. I think some cachers are hanging on to them and logging them in and out of caches or taking them out of the area to another state. Someone I know was in Michigan (UP) at an event and they told him if you take a jeep from the event (he won one as a door prize), NOT to take it out of state.
any word when the pbs coverage will air and on what show?
thanks to all that helped. I know I enjoyed hiding a few. I didn’t realize how hot I was till I got home to air conditioning. bugs weren’t bad with a preemptive spraying before heading out. but it was HOT!! and HUMID!!
