when i’m not at that four letter word w*rk, I have two children I am helping raise, although my wife does more of it than me. I have spent the last ten years remodeling and fixing my house. I have remodeled all but the kitchen on the first floor and built a second floor, updated most of the mechanicals, and have redone most of the outside.(only sofit, facia, and wrapping the windows left.) my wife thinks i’m nuts for not hiring any contractors, but I have been able to do a lot with a lot less money that way. I also enjoy hunting and shooting sports. I spend a good portion of my vacation on hunting and taking my children with me as much as possible. I also try to get in some fishing here and there. and somewhere in there I help take care of things for my grandmother (POA).
i would be concerned about being able to see the screen in full sunlight outside. often the screens on pda’s get hard to read in sunlight, unless your caching inside(yes i used it as a verb).
USS MACABI (SS-375) – Manitowoc’s WWII Submarines waypoint: GCJQBH is a good one my son couldn’t make it all the way taking a short cut. others have taken 2.5 hrs to do the walk. a lot of tall grass and bushes and not much shade. its about 2 miles round trip but bushwacking the whole way.
if you buy the mapsource metro guide usa or topo usa, there is no unlocking. only some of there products have to be unlocked.

my wife was just saying she wants a gpsr of her own. maybe she would like my legend? I would be willing to give it to her….. oh but then I would need a new one hmmmmmm. the sacrifices one must make in a happy marriage[ ]
dropped him off at a cache today. it is in the collans marsh, litteraly next to water.
“A bad day of hunting is better than a good day at work” Dani think they logged the wrong page, i’ve done the replacement and it is possible to walk up within 3 feet.
“A bad day of hunting is better than a good day at work” DanI plan to be in the Shawano area on Sunday and time permitting (no guarantees) may be able to pick it up. Do you want the whole cache picked up or just the TB? If I pickup the whole cache what do you want done with it? I will check this page before possible pickup.
if you get permission i would be happy to rehide on that land.

Ahhh… I can’t say I really remember life before geocaching. Maybee it was gynecology or genealogy, I can’t keep those two straight. I recall collecting a lot of music and video tapes; 8-track and Beta. Drank a lot of beer and caught some fish. I have a bunch of photographic gear collecting dust; a couple of Argus C3’s, A graphlex, a Twin lens reflex. I did the train thing. Did the electronics thing too; built a TV, an oscilloscope, a VTVM, a couple of Stereo sets and repaired TV’s for a while. Solid state electronics put the kabash on that. Did I mention hunting Bench Marks from NGS maps? It is all a bit foggy in my mind, but it’s comming back to me.

And it was my job to try to break half of the stuff he built (grins) but I would try to blame my sisters.
I think you could call us 2nd and 3rd generation. As most of you might know, I call Trudy and the Beast “Mom” and “Dad”, while Ginger520 calls me the same. T & tb got us started shortly after they did, though we are definitly less active.
so are you ok, and how did your “project house” fair the storm?
