I should have said continue to allow geocaching. The things i brought up are only alternatives if they were thinking of not allowing caches on state land. I would preffer to leave it as it is now.

I’m curious as to where you are coming from? The WI DNR has never released a geocaching policy. There are no dues, fees, or licenses required to geocache on WI DNR land.
There are some policies that were put in place while working with the DNR- I.E.- No caches allowed in SNA’s (State Natural Areas). Beyond this, the WGA’s policies are the only STATE rules regarding geocaching that I am aware of.YET.
was unaware of other caches with the same name. I just named it that because it was a expresion i had herd when it is diffuclt to get to a location.

Dear “Really, I’m not lost”. I just about fell out of my chair when I read your post. I’m currently visiting Bellevue, WA and looking at (and doing) some of the local caches. These two caught my eye…You Can’t Get There From Here Either
I wonder just how many “You can’t get there from here” caches there are? Brew, how ’bout a new series 😉

We were out this weekend in the Eau Claire area and ran into our fair share of ticks. Not nearly as many as at the camp out, but there were still enough to be vigilant.
if i am visiting an area i like:
location and view
easy hike and intresting hide
long hike and easy hideif it is close by i like a challenging hide, i found a lot of good research tools and have used them before.
i have thought of doing more hides, but time is sometimes limited. and i don’t know if i want to do a view, or a diffucult. i don’t think i will do one for the real little ones(0-7) my children are getting older. when I made the last one You Can’t Get There From Here, waypoint: GCGXCE I wanted it to be a challange and spent a month or two planning and thinking.

The only thing I could think of was the Reforestation Camp/NEW Zoo near Green Bay WI. It is a 1600 acre park.
It is a zoo on one end and they have several miles of hiking trails on the other. (There is a current cache stashed here).
They have several shelters for rent also. They do include electricity, stove and fridge as well as being heated.
The website is: http://www.co.brown.wi.us/parks/reforestation-camp/index.shtmlI’m not sure if its central enough or not, or if the shelters are available for the date you’re looking at, but I thought I’d throw the idea out to you all.

“A bad day of hunting is better than a good day at work” Danup north we just have deer and wild turkeys (and of course all the little critters) in the middle of the city. when the cows get out its out in the country and you DON”T want to hit one with your vehicle. I know someone who did and he scraped out what was left of his car.(the cow was ok).
Congratulations on 200 finds!!!
Are you having fun yet?!?!?!
Here’s to the next 200!!
Congratulations!!!
It seems like 1000 is becoming the new 100!!!!
Seriously… CONGRATULATIONS on a major accomplishment!
Congratulations!!!!
Is there some caching out west on the horizon?Congrats Miata!
You even found time to place some caches in that time!!!!!!5 states (wi,in,il,ky,tn) i got four of them on an insane roadtrip weekend to east coast of NC and back to pick up a project mustang for my friend. left friday morning back sunday noon.
