Nice job! Enjoy this accomplishment–soak it up. Perhaps we’ll bump into you again at an event. Way to go!
Ah, yes, the awkward realization of what two people are doing in the front seat of the car in what would seem to be uncomfortable with that steering wheel.
We parked next to two cars at Reforestation camp not realizing that they met there for other reasons than taking a hike in the woods. It was actually impressive being that it was 9am on a cold December Sunday morning. Our story is that they told their parents they were going to church…
Devil’s Lake Revisited! Wow, that was challenging, but it felt so good to find it–a satifying find that left us mentioning it to each other for a few days.
YES! We did it! It really is simpler than it sounds. So much for that event cache idea….
How cool is that!!! Neato-frito! Wow! Can you tell we’re stoked? Awesome new profile page. It’s very cool to see all the pics we’ve attached to sites. ‘Haven’t done it yet, but I’m figuring we’ll get to see others’ galleries as well. Way to go! Good move!

Okay Tenner, now that you know how to do it, you can show us! Maybe you could make it the second event cache for Green Bay!!!!
Thanks for your words of encouragement. We feel fortunate to have met most of you and shared caching stories with you. This sport has created a circle of friends for us–a bunch of good people. We look forward to meeting up with you again…on the trail.
Numbers are exciting, but the achievements made on a challenging hunt, the knowledge acquired by an educational hunt, or the thrill of an interesting hide make it exciting for us. We couldn’t tell you the number, but Devil’s Lake Revisited, Double Amputee cache, 2-N-1, and Glow in the Dark I & II were great experiences because of the challenge they provided or the interesting place we were brought to. We agree that we have been to so many places that we would never have found on our own, even here in Green Bay, had it not been for this sport.
In defense of the numbers, they do provide us with a goal to reach and a way to measure our progress. Perhaps this is a teacher thing, but we like being able to say, “Wow! Look what we’ve done!”
I found one today in the Target parking lot here in Green Bay. Perhaps you dropped it on your way out of town. Would you like me to send it to you? [:P]
We were at REI this weekend getting some accessories for my dad as he starts caching, and an REI worker and clinic guy, Max, hadn’t heard of the geocaching clinic. He has classes on Tuesday nights and hasn’t been able to do the gps clinics lately. He’s happy to hear of the upcoming clinic. Good luck! Wish we could be there!
Well, you must not have tripped too much to get this many caches! That, or you tripped over the caches by pure luck. All joking aside, congrats on such a feat (no pun intended).
How’d you have time to get to 600 while hiding all those “State of Minds” ? 😛 Impressive! Have fun with the next 600!
Congrats!…Kudos…Well done, and so forth! We found a cache this weekend that we printed out last fall when you were at a mere 165. Inspiring! Top Drawer!
You guys are great, not just because you hit 600 (that’s a perk)! Congratulations!Umm…what’s a..um…resident program?
