            Thanks for starting this thread.

            Here are some of the suggestions brought up at the LCG event on Saturday.

            Dividing the state into “zones” similar to the Cache of the Month zones.

            Increasing the number of caches from appx. 500 to ??.

            “Badges” for winners’ profiles similar to the WGASPS badges.

            A “Most Wanted” list. This would be the 10 longest unfound caches on the list. X extra points for finding (or DNFing).

            Bonus points for distance from home cords.

            All are open for discussion. So…. discuss. 🙂

              Probably a good idea. Geocoins seem to be less popular than they used to be.

                I changed your membership to WGA Member.
                Depending on which web browser you are using, http:// may or may not be required. Some browsers may “assume” http:/www if you just put in the last part of the web URL.
                https is NOT required. just use httpd.

                  Thanks for pointing that out. I think the importer was not working correctly, but it should be now. BTW, the importer runs once a day.

                      I might be able to hack together the “posts since last visit” functionality. Right now, the system doesn’t even track you last visit… That’ll be the hard part. I would have to update your “last visit date” every time you view a page. Let me think on that one for a bit.

                        With dozens of brand new bots and scrapers hitting the net every month, it would not be possible to tell the difference unless all members log in, which is not the case.

                          I wish I has a solution for logged in members seeing cached pages, and so appearing to be not logged in. There is no page caching on the website. I also cannot replicate the problem using IE, Firefox and IE on phone. I wish I could be more help, and I’ll keep working on the problem. Without a common thread with who is having issues, it’s hard to track down what the cause it.

                            With thousands of page views by search bots and page scrapers, counting views of any single post would be pointless.
