Elections module is online and currently undergoing testing by BOD members.
Fixed a few more issues in the LCG that were pointed out by Team DeeJay.
Turned off site caching because it was causing too many issues.
Added private messages. Added PM link to forum replies. Added notification at top of the page on new messages. Need to add link to a few more places.
Added more articles to the archives.

Ok, this is getting frustrating. I’ve been able to connect all day without any issues. If you were not getting an updated page with the correct last post time, then it has to be a caching issue. I’m going to turn it off for a while and see how it goes…

Private messages is a feature that I sorely miss. It is also somewhat difficult to implement. It is definitely on the TO DO list.

There are a LOT of things I miss about the old website, but it was built on software from the last century. (really) Bloated, inefficient, not user friendly to administrate, very little (no) new development, security holes including SQL injection via unchecked PHP code, didn’t play well with some search engine indexes, does not use simple URLs or unique titles for pages… I could go on all night.
Work is continuing to make the site better and easier to use. If there is something you really miss, suggest it in the To Do thread. Otherwise I’m forced to guess what people want. 🙂
