Okay, since Iām having a glass of wine, Iām going to whine. Everytime groundspeak āimprovesā the search function, I like it less. Once, you could search by a keyword. Thatās been gone a long time. Now they have this new method and Iām going to have to grab the link for ānewest in Wisconsinā before it gets too late. Why canāt we pull up a state, get everything and sort through in whatever way we like anymore? I DONāT THINK THESE ARE IMPROVEMENTS! Okay, Iāll have another sip of wine and maybe Iāll feel better. End of whine.
Ditto!
Sorry I can’t help you out Michael, especially after you were the one to help me with my first hide.Ā Also sorry to see you go, but I understand life and its priorities change.Ā Best of luck to you!
Gwyn, I finally got to hear your Thread Stealers Happy Birthday on the dulcimer.Ā Very nice!
What kind of yoga are you an assistant for…hatha, bikram, vinyasa…other?Ā Many types?
Shameless promotion:
Thread(s) Stealers Swap Meet & Greet, GC5NT3H
HB2U, Labrat!
Working…?Ā
Ā Well, I guess that doesn’t qualify as an odd hobby. Not to steal this thread (we have a different thread just for that), but to piggyback it…I was also thinking of hosting a spring event, but didn’t want to conflict with the usual CITO events.Ā I see the highway pickup is 4/25.Ā There is usually one Saturday that there are CITOs all over the state.Ā Has that date been chosen?Ā And if you feel like commenting here, what is the opinion on Sunday afternoon/evening events?Ā I don’t see many on Sundays and wondered if it is typically a family/church/sports day and an event wouldn’t be well-attended.
02/20/2015 at 2:48 pm in reply to: How do you access your geocaching info? Mobile device or computer? #2035974Ditto your post with regard to technology.Ā If I had the money I would upgrade, but for now, computer is all I can use.
I am not familiar with Mead.Ā I couldn’t find that they rent snowshoes on their website so I am thinking not.Ā I could walk trails that are pretty well trodden, but wouldn’t be up for a strenuous hike in snow.Ā I am a couple hours away, so don’t wait for my arrival.Ā But I will keep watching to see if a group forms…it was quite fun to snowshoe as a group at Mosquito Hill.
02/18/2015 at 3:01 pm in reply to: WGA Board and forum lurkers, too ….the gauntlet is thrown! #2035837I’m one of the last people in the world not on FB so I appreciate this site as my connection to caching and other cachers.Ā Thanks to all who make the effort to post in multiple places!
I think I saw the beginnings of a marshmallow kingdom today when I drove by.
Craphas update around the state?Ā Nothing yet here in Menasha.
I read this article today
<h1 class=”article-title”>What Your Business Can Learn From a Squirrel</h1>
https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/what-your-business-can-learn-from-squirrel-castagna-m-a-Mine goes to my primary e-mail.Ā If it is regarding <contacting me through geocaching.com> I respond right away.Ā If it is a found it on my only cache, I send a message since it is a puzzle, part of a series, and I am grateful to have a find.Ā If it is a cache on my watchlist, I may not read it immediately, but certainly within a day.Ā Those don’t require a response.Ā Doesn’t the website require an e-mail if you own a cache?Ā Why own caches if you ignore people contacting you about them?Ā I’m sorry to hear you are having this issue enough to pose the question, sandlanders.
I loaded a new browser so we’ll see how this goes. The drop-down menu was there, yay! I still had to use the F5 trick to get it to recognize my logged-in status. I am also glad to have “open in new tab” back–at some point years ago, that feature disappeared, and I have had to “open in new window” since. Silly little thing, I know, but anything to make navigation easier! š
