Very awesome. Oh so close to 1K. Do you have a cache picked out? Congrats on 900.
Not yet, I’m wondering about the timing of it all. We have a vacation to Hawaii in 10 weeks. 1K in Hawaii sounds pretty good to me, especially since I love EarthCaches. But it would be kind of fun to attempt a 5/5 for my 1K…
What, there is no 5/5 earthcache there where you have to climb inside the volcano and measure its temperature? 😛 Congratulations on reaching 900! Many more adventures await! 🙂

Seems as if there was a friend of a friend of the DOT person that tried but it never happened. There’s a link somewhere in this forums about that but my search techniques stink.
Perhaps one of these threads?

Welcome to the club! You will no be doubt beat me to 2K. Have fun doing such great caches!
Spring fever is upon us! Thanks for providing the ok that I can go out and find all these new caches. Your sacrifice of time and effort is appreciated. 😀
Welcome! There are advantages to living on the border. I have never cached that far north but I have traveled there. Many beautiful areas. Enjoy caching in Wisconsin!
I was just thinking this morning that I didn’t know anyone with a birthday today…and now I know two! Happy Birthday to you both! 🙂
Congrats! I took a look at it and feel like I should know more about that, but maybe I am so old my memory is failing me… or I just don’t get most puzzles! Glad you and the kids could share it! 🙂
I saw you were getting close and wondered what the milestone would be. How appropriate the three trips, and you know, you could be moonlighting if only geocaching was a paying job! Ah well, if it was work, you wouldn’t enjoy it so much, right? Now get back out there and get another milestone! 🙂
Welcome! This is a valuable caching resource…new and experienced cachers, tech help, recommended caches, even useless drivel. Happy caching here and out west!
I never checked this out before today…is the water always that cloudy? It almost looks like the scenes on the news when a tornado goes through and is caught on camera…and then a fish goes by and I can tell it is underwater. Fun idea, thanks for sharing the link!
Welcome to the WGA! I am not a caching guru, nor am I from your area, but you will find plenty of dedicated cachers here in the forums and at events to connect with. Happy caching with your family!
I voted no, but I could have also voted yes. The no: GCQ44F (T-Rat Treasure) was my first logged find. The cache was hidden in Aug. of 2005 “My first solo find! TFTC” was my log in Aug. of 2008. It was archived and rescued in Nov. of 2010. The yes: GCNZB8 (The Flats) was hidden in May of 2005. I found it with a geocaching class in 2007, but didn’t make it back to log it as a real find until Oct. of 2010.
Congratulations! I wasn’t sure if you were an active cacher anymore. Glad to see you find time for the hunt! 🙂
Food, friends, and fun…that is what milestones are all about! Glad I could share in this one with you. Congratulations on a fine accomplishment. 😀
Welcome! I tried caching in Minnesota when I was over in La Crosse, but I had a DNF and didn’t have enough time to look for a different cache. A good reason to go back, I suppose. Have fun caching in our state and visiting these forums.
