Different strokes for different folks, I guess. I can’t imagine finding so many caches without the use of the satellites, finicky as they may be at times. So way to go Brian! How nice to have a father-son hobby and a Father’s Day tradition that go together. 🙂
Awesome! I have done some of your caches, and of course, you helped me adopt my first cache. Thanks for your guidance in helping me learn the caching trade. It’s not about the numbers, but numbers are nice to celebrate just the same. 🙂

Congrats to you both. It is fun when milestones can synch up and you can make use of new geotools. Sounds like it was even a nice day. Sometimes the milestone itself is enough to make for an exciting day.
05/30/2011 at 1:28 am in reply to: Whats there to find at Heckrodt…. Run and Search’s #2200 #1948515Isn’t Heckrodt great? I will have to seek out the rest of the newer caches there on one of my many walks. Congrats on a fine milestone at a cool puzzle in a neat place!
Even though we only cached together briefly after the Lonely Cache event, I could tell you are full of energy…no wonder it didn’t take too long to reach that 1000 milestone! Now you get to sign the gold ammo can! 8)
Way to go! And I was the cacher who lost the signal in the trees–thanks for getting me to ground zero, even though you were the first to spot the cache! That’s how it should be for a milestone. Congrats!
Congrats Pat and Mark on a most significant milestone! May you have many more! 😀
Thanks cheesehead…I tried it, but it didn’t work. I made sure I clicked OK, and tried it with three different caches. I also went back to see if the preferences had defaulted, but they stayed as you suggested. Not sure what I missed.
Another fine milestone! You do Menasha proud! 🙂
Glad you could join us! There are lots of friendly, helpful people on these forums, so ask questions and enjoy the game!
Thanks for the update. I am glad I got the chance to vote and also see the results.
Way to go! I like eggplant, both the food and the cache! Glad you are out and about again.
Welcome to geocaching! I see recently someone posted in the Looking for Someone to Cache With section (name is SugarStar) was looking for Janesville area cachers. Enjoy your new hobby alone or with others!
Yay, John and Kim! A milestone I aspire to. Keep on caching!
It is not only amazing the number of finds you have, but the variety, and how you can appreciate caching not only for numbers but each one for itself. Thanks for all you do in the sport and for the WGA!
