FTP for August 8th.
Today I visited one of my former schools which is now a museum. They didn’t have a picture of my kindergarten class, but they did have one of my brother’s. It was very cool to be in there again and see the exhibits from recent history to the 19th century. The volunteer docents were very knowledgeable too.
My family’s first microwave lasted well into double digit years. I have had similar success. Wish I could say the same for coffee makers.

When doing other activities like you did, such as paddling, birding, camping, even sightseeing, I think it is great that you and many add caching to it. It is also great if someone does want to just spend the day geocaching. But what I really think is awesome is that you and many of the early caching veterans still do geocache and place and maintain their caches. Obviously folks do need to pare down or even leave the hobby, but I am happy to see some of the longtime cachers still active, in person or in forums. It is also good to see new names keeping things going. Hopefully they will add to the sport and keep things going for veterans and newbies alike!
