It’s been a while since we’ve had an afternoon first to post. I started the day quite productive but have since become lazy.
Great job on the radio today! Listening to the Larry Meiller Show many years ago got us involved in caching, great to hear Rebecca and Carson promoting things today. Unfortunately, I listen to his podcast instead of the radio, so I couldn’t call in., but enjoyed hearing the joy and excitement the game brings you and hope more people have the same reaction we had.
Thanks, Noonan. I listened to it this evening. I agree, it was a well done account of geocaching and nice job of fielding questions by Carson and Rebecca.
And as is the case with the axiom that if you wait a little bit, the weather in Wisconsin will change, it has. Rain and storms headed my way. Last night’s rain had its downpours, but no flooding by me. The wind made itself known, but again, no major damage.
Time to update the Avatar. <———-
Is it weird I can’t remember the old one? It had some red, maybe? (Checking previous posts does no good; the avatar changes for all of them.) Funny how my brain just stops seeing things, like driving the usual route, and then seeing a newly vacant site and not remembering what used to be there.
It’s a great day for an odd day off. Well, technically, it’s an even day off. FTP for June 4th.
4K drive-by graduation this evening. Some decorations and music, diplomas and return of belongings. No speeches, no singing, no video loop, but hey, at least I didn’t cry!
Short answer is Logistics. Long answer is logistics
Oh, I understand now. Very good explanation, thank you.
Come to the Fall Picnic at Buckhorn State Park on September 18 & 19. All of the WGA merchandise will be available there.
That is the hope. Thanks for the date and location reminder.
I am probably overlooking an obvious thing, but why does the WGA store only have the coin for sale and not any other merchandise? With no spring campout, it would seem people might be eager to purchase things not having had the opportunity in May. Personally I haven’t got the funds for anything, so I am asking out of curiosity, not because I was looking for anything in particular.
I’m watching a virtual high school graduation ceremony. I am one of those few who actually likes attending graduations. Bring on the speeches full of cliches or stories that are more funny if you were there. Show me the trendy senior photos and goofy and poignant slide shows. Play Pomp and Circumstance and all the songs about time passing and promises of bright futures. I love it all.
And the best part of virtual ceremonies is not having to sit crammed together in a stuffy auditorium or sunburning at an outdoor stadium. The second best part is I can stop and start the video and watch it as time allows.
Double post for the double double-digits page. ☺

Giving the Jims a day off…FTP for May 26th.
To be serious for a moment, remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country…
And in the pointless ramblings category, to think, two weeks ago we had snow, now it feels like summer! 😓
I Looped the Lake today in Neenah/Menasha/Fox Crossing. There were not as many people as on Wednesday, which was a really pleasant day. Maybe because it is the start of Memorial weekend. Maybe because it was not as nice out today. Or maybe because of all the ecologically vital but annoying river flies…😝
Saw this family while earthcaching in Dane County this weekend.

Awww.☺
