When/where are the chili event and the LCG event?
Whew! I was getting worried. FTP for December 1st.
Wow, I posted Happy Thanksgiving twice and neither one showed up.
I think there is still the glitch that you can’t post something identical, word-for-word. I know it is that way with FTP posts.

Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit Absolutely too early for Christmas music! I want Thanksgiving music.
What is the significance of rabbit, rabbit, rabbit? That’s the second time I have seen that referenced.
I looked it up because I didn’t know. Wikipedia said it is a superstition/tradition that saying it first thing on the first day of the month, brings good luck for the month. I’ve never thought of rabbits as being particularly lucky. Like the expression regarding a rabbit’s foot for good luck…it wasn’t lucky for the rabbit. And we know what it means if the rabbit died–that might be lucky for some and not for others, but again, not for the rabbit.
Time for a little Halloween fun. I’ll start it out and then you add a couple lines to make a spooky/funny/goofy Halloween story. It was a dark and stormy night. Can anyone ask HQ to offer a souvenir? For example, if I plan a CITO and I want attendees to get a souvenir, can I submit a request for them to provide people with one? Or is it only for the general membership? Someone would need to design it, write the program to have it appear, and so on… above my pay grade. I am guessing it can’t be allowed. I think those who would attend a CITO for its intended purpose don’t really care if they get a souvenir or not.
Congrats on your comma! I still remember how much fun my 1,000 find was. I also still try to make the milestones something memorable, even though there are fewer milestones for me recently. There are always a lot near me to be found, and a lot in many other interesting places. I usually pick an area and see what’s there, or go in conjunction with some other activity I have in that area. Or I go with others and let them choose, since they have typically cached out certain areas. I am sure wherever you go, adventures will follow!
