Anyone watching the Olympics? I’ve caught a few events. It’s funny how I develop a short-lived interest and a surprising amount of expertise in sports I otherwise wouldn’t watch. I like hearing the personal interest stories too.

I woke up to complete darkness as the power had gone out in the whole neighborhood, maybe farther. No answer on the outage line, so they must have known already. Of course, since I had the time to sleep and it was not ideal to get up anyway, I just lie awake. About an hour later, the power was back on, having been out about 2 1/2 hours. By then, I was ready to hibernate again!

Today was my last day off to use for the year. I decided to be productive, cleaning and organizing, since it was going to be snowing so hard. <eye roll>

We didn’t get the 6-7 inches predicted in Menasha…not yet anyway. It’s still snowing after a midmorning break.
