Well, I got on with no trouble on my phone just now, but using a computer…ugh. 10 minutes to bring up the site, several minutes to log in and change pages, both on Chrome and Firefox. I blame it on Halloween gremlins!
Is anyone else having trouble accessing the WGA site? Whether I use my phone, my computer, or a public computer, it is taking well over 2 minutes for each click of the mouse to bring up the new page or thread. Anyway, if others are having an issue, it can be addressed by the webmaster. If not, I will just have to be patient!
Early FTP on Friday of one of longest weeks ever…and not like it was even a bad week, just a slow-moving one.
Some days I could do an early FTP when I get up. Some could do one at midnight. It’s nice to see people check in at various times. Sometimes the FTP is the only post of the day. 🙁 If nothing else, this post kept that from happening. 🙂
I just found BeccaDay in the Thread Stealers thread!
Someone must have reminded her it is Homecoming month in the WGA forums! 🙂
Is BeccaDay the one who moved outta state?
Yes.
That is quite an accomplishment! And the best part is likely the great stories that made up your journey…looking forward to hearing some of them. 🙂
By chance, I crossed paths with Mrs. WalkingAdventure and Mrs. Lacknothing. Nice to see caching friends I haven’t seen for a while.
This reminds to mention: October is the unofficial homecoming month in the WGA forums. In person, by mail or phone, or by social media, invite cachers who no longer frequent the WGA forums to return and post something. They can reply to a thread or start their own, pose an insightful question or post useless drivel. It is good to hear from people again, even if they just say hi.
:ftp: on page 840.
Scuppernong Springs, a random photo I have attached, but don’t know how to rotate.

Nice photos, Hack1of2! Fun times!
Had to carry minimal stuff on the ride…I just had a camera and my friend had her phone/camera. The company warned us about things we might drop and lose forever and liability for what it might hit. But using satellite and GC maps and landmarks, I found the general area. I am thinking when I drive out there, it will look familiar.
Yes, we flew over some very luxurious homes too. Then we flew over a lot of fields and marshland. I have been using the map on the gc site to try to determine if there are any caches near where we landed. And I don’t know exactly where that was. I have been using landmarks and curved in roads and I think I may have a guess. I could just call the pilot–they keep records of that–but what fun would that be? I will drive out there in a non-hunting season and see if I am right.
Very cool, Deb. Thanks for sharing

If you look very closely, in the center of the first photo, you can see yourself waving! 🙂
There are a few other pictures on the cache page. Thanks for putting up with my futile attempts in the past days!
