So, I was able to post a few photos from my balloon ride on the event page, GC75PQV. And lo, and behold, they copy from the cache page, so here they are below as well.

Given all my issues today, I think I deserve a :ftp:
Ok, I have another suggestion and another idea and I will try each of those at another time. Thanks for all the ideas!
Maybe this? Hmm. Nope, compressing photo didn’t work.
Is jpg and jpeg the same, rawevil? They are jpeg. I will try a few things now that I have a bit of time.
Ok, I think I may have a solution…hard to get all things coordinated when some things are on a phone, some on a hard drive, some on a camera…I will try to post some of the scenery photos from my recent balloon ride here.
And…that didn’t work. I tried to edit, then add by browse, select, add another, and hit submit. What did I forget?

FTP for today with a picture from my first balloon ride! (She said as if there would be subsequent rides.)

You must be logged in to view attached files.Debby I was wondering all day yesterday if you got the ride. We need photos. Lucky you, glad it finally happened and met all your expectations!
I will try to post a picture or two here this weekend. But as the saying used to go, they might be “frickin’ huge”, if I can get them to post at all.
Coming down from my balloon high for the FTP and the first bad pun of the day.
Spectacular! Amazing! Wow!
A whole thesaurus of adjectives can’t really capture the experience. I’m so glad I finally got to go. If it’s on your radar at all, do it.
Got the go for the flight, but flight services mentioned early winds that should die down. So, it may be another disappointment, but if you see a hot air balloon over Ripon this evening, I’m probably on it!
Skies look good for a balloon ride tomorrow. Let’s hope the winds cooperate.
My thoughts: basically I think if an owner is maintaining a cache and wants to keep it, that is the owner’s prerogative. There will be new cachers who haven’t found it, or people who just haven’t gotten around to finding it. Of course, longtime prolific local cachers may want something new. They could place more, maybe collaborate on a series with others. Or perhaps try asking cache owners if they would be willing to open up a coveted spot. However, if your specific example cache isn’t getting many finders because of distance of hike or terrain difficulty, why would a new cache there be any different? Like any cache one owns, keep it if you want and can maintain it. Archive it if it loses your interest or becomes troublesome.
No ballooning tonight. Weather conditions very unstable. No complaints from me, though. I am not in Texas right now.
