We, those who reside along Lake Winnebago, are dealing with the spring peak hatch of lake flies. The harmless bugs are a nuisance, but are a vital food source for fish and birds and the outbreak doesn’t last long. Do other Wisconsin areas have similar annoying things (I don’t mean mosquitoes) that are unique to their areas? What is your area’s nuisance in nature?
Congrats on your milestone!
I found a few caches as part of a geocaching class a year before I went out on my own when I got a Garmin.
Then #1 was 8/9/2008.
#100 5/12/2009
#1000 10/08/2011

Congratulations on 2K! 🙂
Congrats on your milestone! 🙂
Nice milestone and nice photo–congrats, Mimi! 🙂

Well, it didn’t allow me to underscore it, but I meant to emphasize the congratulations just the same! 🙂
Sounds like there’s a story here…but I guess with 9000 finds, there are a lot of stories! Congrats on your milestone 🙂
Congrats to 2tinkers! Glad to have met you at an event or two…see you on the trails!
