Well, we think the class and hunt went well

We know we had fun, and the other three teams seemed to have a great time, they each made an independant find of the ‘Little bit of Paradise’ cache!

For anyone who is interested, let us know by posting here if you are interested in any future classes, workshops, or group hunts.

That is incredible timing! Glad no one (especially including yourselves) were hurt, but it sure would have been something to see.

We’re okay with waiting for the remaining cards to be taken. No rush, the first 10? have gone pretty fast, and the ante will be bigger, as will the competition to get the other caches. We vote to wait

Thanks for the hair dryer suggestion to remove lables. We had tough US Military lables to remove from 20 surplus containers today in preperation for the geo-campout. The dryer worked like a charm!

Three questions:
1) After all 17 game pieces are gone, will the ante cache be removed to preserve its contents till the game is over, or will other cachers still be hunting it and hopefully not removing the ante?

2) From your rules, the 5 ‘card’ caches will be posted on the ante cache’s page. WIll only the 17 players be able to see these co-ordinates?

3) Since the 5 card caches will not have their own pages, will we be allowed to log finds for them on the ante cache’s page?

Hiya Jessie, and welcome!

Our daughter (Little CacheCalf) also has a Map330 like yours. The only way of getting the detailed maps for your unit is to buy one of the sets that Magellan offers. They have a few different sets depending on what you are interested in. You will also need the data cable if you don’t have it to connevt your 330 to your computer.
