CONGRATULATIONS!!!
May you be blessed with many wonderful years together!!!
What a hell of a ride indeed. THank God I was the only person involved.
Now to find a new caching mobile that has lots of cargo space and can sit more than four people. 😕 Hubby might get his Suburban yet…. 😆
No Eagle III…no broken bones…please!
Well, we’ll be at the group site as well.
Bec, you’re welcome to crash at our house so you don’t have to make the long drive in one shot!
I’m on there too….and I joined the WGA group a few weeks ago.
I have not cached in all parts of the state. So I cannot say.
I’m not sure if I want to deal with this…..
or experiencing the summer bliss of suffering 2-3 weeks of painful blisters from getting up close and personal with stinging nettle….
or being thankful I met my deductable early in the year when yellow jackets an wasps send me to the doctor…

I chose “I’m impartial to the new logo. I just want the whole affair to be over with. I’m tired of it.” because I am tired of the subject. However, I’m not “Impartiial”. I don’t love the new logo, but I do like it, and it’s better that the old one.
I still think the logo EnergySaver posted is the best, but the voting is over, and it wasn’t there to be voted for at the time.
This one—> <<<—Right here
I agree, the Energy Saver map of WI is better than the “cow pie” brown version. Why don’t I remember the brown state when we voted? Wasn’t it green? If we did not technically vote for the brown one either, is there anything wrong with modifying it slightly again to include the map version instead?

The word “expecting” make it seem that we are looking forward to it.
“cursed” would be a better word.😆
Winter sucks.
This should be fun. We are expecting 4-5 inches of snow Saturday.
I’d be up for tagging along to do these caches as well. I’m getting caching fever being stuck in the house…..
I say if you can help the TB by all means take it and move it along!
As for “trading” TBs…I see that on a cache page and it’s my cue to raid the prison and set them all free. 😀 😀 No cache owner can/should make “rules” for my TB or anyone else’s for that matter.
I vote No. If we start with a re-vote on this decision, it sets a precedent for re-voting on all future decisions that’ll be made that people do not agree with. (yeah, it WILL happen). Businesses and organizations cannot be conducted in that fashion. I hope the WGA decides not to go down the path you are asking.

NGS datasheets for counties. This is the page you will need if you wish to download all the benchmarks for any particular county. THis is a ZIP file and will require the next link to open it to put it into GSAK.http://parkrrrr.com/
The BMGPX program needed to take the NGS download and covert it to GPX file for GSAK.http://forums.groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=113335
The INFO source on just about everything benchmarking from those who take this very seriously. A GREAT tutorial on getting started – from not finding a disk, to tools needed, to programs to what does that mean??http://www.ngs.noaa.gov/cgi-bin/showdoc.prl?Doc=dsdata.txt
This page taken from the NGS site explains everything on the datasheet from wht a PID means to geoid height etc. [/url]@Cache_boppin_BunnyFuFu wrote:
not sure if you might be able to add a sticky note yourself, as Marc 5digits did, but if not, I will be happy to help you out!! 🙂
We’ll we be happy to provide the info you can provide the sticky.
Thanks FuFu for getting a forum thread on benchmarking.
We would be willing to add a one stop shopping thread on “how to/equipment needed/frequent terms etc” after the holidays if there is interest. Perhaps it could be a sticky?
