Well, this was a web site with a list of spots yes. However, I thought somebody in the group had created a gpx or loc file of all the spots that we could load into GSAK or other similar programs.
We went to Canada last year with our six year old son. We needed valid ID for the adults. I used my passport (highly recommended) but officials did accept hubby’s DL with birth certificate. And we definitely needed a birth certificate for our son. Our son was asked questions, that we could not interfere with. But it wasn’t a big issue. We waited longer in line to get in/out of the country than having our citizenship checked.
We have this nice new web site so how about creating a section on how to place and maintain a cache. Granted, people have to take the time to read it in the first place, but if it was done well, I think it would be a nice addition to help both new and “experienced” cachers alike.
Enjoy the park! We all did heck of a job on cleaning it a few weeks ago, making it ready to go for the season! We’ll be in Eau Claire so we can’t join you, but we’ll be there in spirit! It’s one of our favorites!
Several of us are in the final stages of planning our weekend field trip to the area. (One day just isn’t enough for this part of the state). This area has some great hikes, and awesome scenery. This is gonna be great!
