Great idea. I’ll tell this to my daughter, and let you know if it works! 😯
Status update: So far, it hasn’t worked…….
Mine is still crabby too, though I think it’s a life style choice in her case. 🙂
I just checked and I didn’t have the same problem with mine. Afraid I don’t have any suggestions as to how you can fix it either. 🙁
I would like to see it be 1 ticket per person attending for the main prize drawing, and have something separate for hunting temps or other activities held at the event.
Beyond geocaching, I am a scouting volunteer for Boy Scout Troop 851 in Plymouth. I am the advancement chairperson which means I’m in charge of recording as well as getting the merit badges and rank advancements for the scouts.
I would have to say KOrpl, I am the most familiar with his ideas and what he has done in the WGA.
Co cola cholate cake brownies too…….oooh I’m a thread stealer….bad Rob!! 🙂

Nope. We cache without paper. All that’s needed is something like a PDA or the fancy Oregon GPSr that all the cool kids have. We’re not cool, so we use our nuvi like a PDA.
I think your cool. 🙂
Sounds like a bribe for a vote.
I am so offended!! I use brownies for that. 🙂

So far, looking good. Bound to improve with age – everything else does!
I agree you have been improving ever since I met you. 😉
Congrats!!!
I’m afraid of Campbellsport myself. 🙄
Though it’s unfortunate when a cache is blown up I don’t know that it’s caused a huge backlash against Geocaching as a whole. In general these events seem to be small blips on most peoples radars that are quickly forgotten.
In todays environment the authorities are most likely going to error on the side of caution whenever something unusual is reported. The best thing all of us can do is to practice good caching etiquette by hiding our caches well with proper labeling, and when hunting caches using stealth and re-hiding caches well.
With this in mind I don’t feel the WGA could have much of an impact in preventing this from occurring in the future.
I don’t feel it would be a good idea to have an event located at the same park every year, I would much rather have the events move around the state as they currently do including Northern Wisconsin.
