My main GPSr is a Magellan Explorist 310, in the car I use a Garmin Nuvi, and on occasion I use my smartphone with the Geocaching.com app.
Planning on being there unless something unforeseen occurs.
I love the Devil’s Lake area of Wisconsin, and would love to do more caching in that part of the state.
When COTM first began I think it had an excellent purpose picking out the cream of the crop caches in the state. As time has gone on it seems more like a popularity contest focusing more on the cache hider then the quality of the cache. Now with Geocaching.com doing favorite points I don’t know that COTM really has a purpose any longer.
My best skills are usually seen at events where the work needs to get done. I’m always there helping with setup like at the pancake breakfasts, or the picnic. I’m definitely more of a doer, though I don’t have a problem with helping to plan things either.
I’m open to just about any kind of caching really. I’ve spent entire days doing park and grabs, but I also enjoy the long hikes in the woods. All depends on how much time I have and what the weather is like on any given day.
When I was involved in scouting LNT was a part of the training I received as an Assistant Scout Master. I agree that LNT should definitely be more of a front burner issue for the BOD as well as the WGA in general. Finding ways to promote LNT as an organization be it through training at events, more exposure on the website, or through other means should be something the BOD should look at.
I like it.
We have one as well that we can bring along.
I have no problems with viewing the site on my Windows Phone.
Stephanie (MissStephieFaye) will be there to assist as need as well.

The call is out and the BOD is well represented. We have a couple from the members but there is always room for more. Many hands make easy work and it is a great way to give back to the WGA, and a great way to experience what goes on behind the scenes and rub elbows with the Directors in the event you choose to run for the prestigious honor of being a WGA director.
It’s also really fun too!!
Too far away for us to adopt I’m afraid, good luck Peach where ever you are headed.
Karen and I will be there to help out where ever we are needed.
