Wow! You really are picking up speed now aren’t you? Before you know it, you’re going to pass right by me!

And speaking of polkas… I still don’t know if I should thank you or curse you for making me polka with you at those weddings. 😆

Got it Pat. Thanks for being a part of it. Glad you’ve had a good time exploring the back roads.

Everyone else – don’t forget to let me know if you’ve placed a new cache so I can include it on the bookmark list. I’ll try to update the planned placement list soon.

    Great family moment! Congrats! 😀

The only real way to make a cache winter friendly is to move it inside next to a nice warm fire and a cup of cocoa. 😀

Seriously, I think that’s pretty bold indeed. I can understand if it really was winter right now like Jim admitted to doing, but why be worried about it being winter friendly in the summer? Personally, I do admit that I have moved a cache slightly on occasion, but not enough to change the intent and usually just to conceal it better than I found it.

However, there is the other side of it… Someone wrote “Found it. Hint was no help.” Hint was “six feet up.” Then I got an email from them telling me I should change the hint because they found it on the ground and that is where they left it. The cache is a matchstick container with a hanger on it AND a little fake pine branch glued to it. I could understand if they didn’t put it back exactly at 6 feet, but to leave it on the ground????

Traditional, Whereigo, Event, Webcam to round out the 10 I’m interested in.

Based on the current rate, look for a special Event to be planned sometime in February or March of 2011.

Flat Jack and I thank you for the Kudos. This was a cache I would have done any day (well…maybe not in the rain) milestone or not. Just glad I got to enjoy it with some friends which made it even better.

    Big 2K! Congrats JT!

Despite the fact I was ready to use you as a human shield against the deerflies and I really don’t think I’ll ever believe you again when you say it’s an easy less than a mile walk…

…it was a great place to visit! Thanks for including us.

    Congrats Ed!

P.S. I’ll get planning on that 1000th Find Event once you start getting closer to it.

in reply to: TB Goal Sheet? #1931368

I also believe based on a previous quick encounter I had, that some cachers such as EarthAngel of Ecorangers actually make these little laminated sheets and write the # on the back as a courtesy to the TB owner and to help them keep track of ones they’ve already discovered when they come across them again.

Again, I may have misunderstood her, but now every time I see one with a square laminated goal log and a number written on the back I assume it’s one that they’ve discovered already.

Crazy thing. I picked up a pill bottle the other day and it actually had pills in it!

If I ever find a bison tube with a real bison in it… now THAT would be a shocker.

Or a reeeeeeeeeeally big bison tube!

    …or a really long bison…
