Thanks for all the well wishes everyone. When I started this “hobby,” I never thought I would have found 1000 before my first anniversary, but thanks to the constant effort of the geocommunity to keep WI cache rich I’ve been able to use them to satisfy my wanderlust and explore new areas. Can’t wait until I can expand my reach into the further reaches of the state!
Also, a special “shout out” thank you to Jimandlinda for all the great back road caches they place. Of my 1000 finds (including my very first), around 16% of them are theirs…and I still only have found just a little over half of the ones they have out there! Thanks for keeping me stocked with fun stops for a long time.
Kind of had a sneaking suspicion who it was based on the hints, but something still seemed lacking in the description.
Congrats ###########! 8)
You’ve sure been getting around a lot lately!…and I mean that in the most flattering way. You need to make your way back down my way and conquer a few more of my caches now that you’ve done Dave’s challenging little cache.
Great job and a great place for a milestone HP2! Here’s to many more and catching you on the trail again soon!
Cache on! 8)
Nice little icon milestone run you’ve got going Ed. Going to have to start calling you Icon Junkie soon. 😆
Congrats my friend. Glad I could be a part of (and the reason for! 😆 ) a few of those finds! 8)
Big congrats Tim!

Another day, another milestone…or at least it seems like that’s your pace. Cache on GLS! 8)
Another shirt idea that popped into my head.

(I purposely left off the scuba icon to mess with Splash.) 😈Congrats to the entire Hit Squad! Cache on!
Thanks for the well-wishes everyone. It was a fitting milestone for the journey so far. The CO and I have a lot of shared many crazy caching memories in our short time doing this. Later on that day, we got together and added even more caching memories to the list.
…as for the Wally thing. 🙄 It’s not another TB. It’s a family nickname from when a teenage Hibiscus needed to feel better about herself by tormenting an innocent little gradeschooler by taunting him with names, pinning him down to give him “a typewriter” or hanging him from his ankles above the staircase. She also used to cheat in thumbwrestling by using her claws.
Eventually I grew up and she got too old. (Funny thing, she’s still getting old. 😈 ) Many moons later, the nickname stuck. Even my nephews call me “Uncle Wally.” I HATED it at the time (which is why she kept calling me it), but now I like it. Not everyone gets a family nickname. However, I’d like to see her try and hold me by my ankles over the stairs now. ❗ Although, I’m surprised that need hasn’t come up when trying to reach a cache… yet. 😆On quite the roll lately! Great looking cache…but where was the big money payout? 😉
Cache on!
Retirement and the new home base suit you well! Looking forward to more of you upcoming adventures! Cache on!
… and GLS w/ GPS caches on! Congrats again!

Cache on!
A new “cleaner” more “upbeat” DNF shirt. (Deleted the other one.)
