Could very well be interested. Have to double check schedule.
❓ Say, how safe is it having a large group of cachers tromping around on the ice? ❗ 😯

I’m not sure where you got your info, but all three of the Waukesha County P & R are occupied.
I didn’t say they would be for sure available to place a cache at them all. I was only listing the P/Rs that DIDNT have a cache. There are some spots like the train stations and private property spots that shouldn’t have one. Then there are the ones where train lines or other caches are too close. I just thought also including the places where there aren’t ones would be a good list to spark conversation and get people thinking about them.
As for 67-75… well…uhh…missed that one in my search. 😳 Dang human tendencies for error. It’s now on the Has One list.
My GPS marks where I started the search, most of the time is within my vehicle. While I don’t have a fancy “trail” that shows where I’ve gone, it does show me the straight line between where I started and where GZ was. I rarely need to look back at it, but it’s good to have when the trees all start looking the same.

All that work……ya they (rest areas) are pretty much off limits if they belong to the DOT.
Not that much work. I still wanted the list of the active sites so I went through them all. I just did a quick copy and paste for the rest. No big.
That’s the answer I thought about the Rest Areas. Guess I didn’t realize (but it makes sense) about the P/Rs.

Is the list set to “public”? I don’t have permissions according to the gc website.
Yes, it was public, but I didn’t have the “I want to share this list with others.” clicked.

Did you really teach BakRdz everything he knows?
😯 What!?
Got that a little backwards I think……and keep me under control? She couldn’t do that back in the day. No way she can now that she’s old…uhhhh…er. 😉
Also, does anyone know…is there a rule about not being able to place caches at state rest areas? Couldn’t find anything specific about it and the only ones out there seem to date back to 2005 or earlier.
Wow. Great number. Great job!
Cache on! 8)
Way to go! Walk on and cache on! 8)
P.S. Loved reading your story at my First Splash into Caching cache. Nice cache to include in a milestone run. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks everyone from me and my sis. Don’t know how many times we’ll align for these joint milestone runs, but it’s been fun sharing them. (Twin Bluffs Cave now this one.) At our current pace, we might just be hooking up for #900/#400.
Yes, the islands seem very popular lately. Personally, I’d rather be caching on a tropical island, but this was as close as we could come. 8)
For those who are curious, here is what our neighbors to the west produced in 2009.

I have a “Crackberry” Tour. I don’t know how many G it has, if there is a “app” or map for it, or anything else the cell phone companies tell me is important. What I do know is other than being a phone, it has occasionally afforded me the opportunity to…
– Look up hints/attributes/logs to caches that are giving me fits at GZ
– Log my finds on the spot so I don’t have to do them in bulk later (or in the case of a FTF, out of courtesy)
– Find other nearby spontaneous caches I may not have loaded into my GPS because I hadn’t planned on them
– Search for a listing for a cache I had loaded into my GPS from a previous upload but didn’t have any info along at the time
– Take pictures and upload or email them in one step
– …and many other little things.Do you need it? Not at all. If you have it, it can be useful. I can honestly say though, if I didn’t have mine through work, I wouldn’t own one and would survive without it.

Interesting idea, I’m ready to run. If you adjust the lines to the actual yellow border corners I think it puts the x right on CodeJunkies house :>
I do have a big backyard, so permission granted for my property. 😆 😆 😆
I’m getting nervous though as many people appear to be stalking me. 😆 😆
A quote from CodeJunkie in one of my cache logs…”Ok – lesson learned. I mentioned this road to the owner one morning and told him there wasn’t anyplace for a cache. Then this happens. Just for future reference – “There’s no place for a cache at the end of my driveway.” That should net me an easy one in the future.”
Perhaps if you didn’t INVITE the stalkers…
BTW T&B, Sorry to steal the thread a bit…This is an awesome idea for a cache.
Great topic. Took a little bit to reflect on this. There are a lot of places that I’ve visited in the past that I only WISH I would have been doing geocaching at that time. Probably the one I regret the most is on Kauai… GCRRQW which was hidden just before I made the hike along the Na Pali Coast into the Valley. It’s still one of my favorite hikes of all time. Had I only known there was a cache here at the time! I probably was one of the muggles making a path to the tree and didn’t even know I was a muggle!
As for a cache on my wish list, I’ve always wanted to visit Victoria Falls. GC1AXND is near there and looks like a great adventure. It was hidden on 4/5/2008 and still has a STF opportunity on it! (How many frequent flyer miles do I have saved up?)
Another congrats! Glad I could be there to witness it. …and thanks for being the one who saved up a milestone for the day. It was nice to have another reason to cheer when we got there.
Cache on! 😀
