My intent for posting this image out here is only to hopefully clarify what is being discussed (if I am interpreting the poll correctly). Obviously, as the creator I would be honored if the “modification” of the logo I designed were adopted as the official logo, but I would like to remain impartial as I am probably to close to the decision.

The one opinion I do have that I will voice is regarding the use of multiple logos. My suggestion to modify the logo for the back was only to connect the image on the front and the back together creatively for this special case. As a general rule I agree it is improper to have multiple versions of a logo, but I do like Cheeto’s Google analogy as an explanation for the exception. Going forward, I would suggestion only having one primary logo (whether it is shown in full color or one color as I’ve posted). Having multiple logos for the membership to will create an non-cohesive image and cause confusion.

So I’m figuring that the souvenirs are being developed from east to west or in the order that the states became states, hence the prevalence of Delaware appearances.

They are doing the US states in order of statehood. Anyone hoping for a HI one is going to be waiting a bit.

    Big Congrats for Big Jim!

Oh yeah…and I was hoping Santa would bring me some “Navy Seal” issue climbing gear so the next time I want to scale a tree I don’t get turned away due to wet conditions.

Not much caching stuff this year, but Santa is leaving me a stock of nice all weather gel pens in my stocking so I always have a good signing pen no matter what vehicle or pack I have with me.

I was thinking the same thing. I could have used a pair of chest waders. The kayak wasn’t going to work across the marsh. A pair of chest waders would have saved me some ribbing by BakRdz at Trout Haven. He had chest waders I had hip boots. I had to hold on to them l like an old man with stretched out support socks. A few more inches and it would have given blue b**** a new meaning.

That’s odd – I did Trout Haven right before you guys and I had no trouble with hip boots. I could have used chest waders for Wet Maze, but think I would have died from Heat Exhaustion.

I guess these are like screwdrivers and hammers. Many different versions for many different occasions.

CJ- hip boots for you are like knickers to jstajlr.

I only have chest waders. Most of the time, hip boots would be fine I’m sure. But since one of my primary needs for them requires me to go out in water over my waist, I go with chest waders. (Plus it let me have more fun in the creek last winter). 😀

WTG on 2.5K! Glad your still having fun with it!

Congrats! Glad you found Zihuatanejo before the big snow came in. I couldn’t figure out how to get there last winter.

HA! See! It’s not me! You are perfectly capable of getting yourself into “what the heck am I doing here” situations without my help!

Congrats on the big 2K. It seems like just yesterday that me and my Girlz were spying on you and your girls as you went for your very first FTF with less than 10 finds under your belt.

Congrats again. Glad I could be there to be a part of some of those crazy adventures on the way to 2K.

in reply to: is permission needed for driveby EC? #1938947

I just had one approved a little while ago under the new approval process. All the waypoints were along the right of way or on the road in a rural area. I was not required to get permission for these.
