    Kudos on 3K at 2K!

Haven’t determined where or if I’ll be going caching, but I’ll be wearing orange all the time, even when home. There’s a couple of crazies that hunt the fields behind my house.

What if I had to pull another cacher along behind me because they kept slipping on the ice?

Ok…now I’m done stealing this thread.

Good grief! I’m still trying to round out my corners for the first time!

Great accomplishment again. Not that it’s about the stats, but they are a nice recognition of the fun you two have every time you turn the GPSr on. 😀

The Lacknothing machine caches on! Great job.

Just did a cache with a D rating of 4.5. I’ll be interested if it stays that because it probably shouldn’t be rated that hard.

Like GR said, doesn’t really matter unless you have one of those “odd” ones that people collect for stats. However, I’ve thought about if it would be possible to have different rating for different times of the year. As example, I’ve “cheated” and walked to a few of GRs island caches. They are rated appropriately high for most of the year, but in January when I did them…2’s at best.

Bottom line, unless you made it a 4.5 or higher and are dropping it, not sure many people will even notice.

Glad to hear you are recovering. Funny thing…I seem to break out with some sort of rash when I DON’T go caching for awhile. I pick up a few P/Gs and it gets better. Strange.

Just downloaded the topo map from GPSDepot. Looks great. Going to test it out today. Seems like a good improvement over Garmin’s 2008 topo.

Congrats! …and great choice for a cache. I have this one on my list for a “get the gang together” for assault. This one fits right in the category of caches that tend to get us in trouble but end up memorable and fun.

    Congrats again! 😀

    Congrats! 😀 😀 😀

Thanks. Flat Jack had so much fun in his gangster suit, he still hasn’t taken it off. Think he’s hopin’ for another heist or something to do in it. 😉

Great cache choice, Ed. Sad to see the “icon” streak end, but it will be interesting to see what you choose next.

Still sneakin’ up on me. Congrats on yet another milestone.
