Hello,
I came accros this site while searching for geocoins to trade and this quote caught my eye. Hope you don’t mind if I reply to it.
I’m a member of the Alabama Geocachers Association (In Alabama of courese!). A few months back I started getting interested in geocoins so I did some research and presented it to the AGA. I didn’t expect to receive much interested in it at the time. Much to my amazement in just a few short months we we already had a design worked out and were collecting orders! We needed to hit a 200 coin minimum to place an order. I wasn’t sure that we were going to be able to do this. However we actually ended up ordering over 550 coins in the end.
Check out the prices at http://www.kvcoins.com. They are very reasonable and great to work with. So far they have the best prices that I’ve seen. Also, if you log on to our site at http://www.alacache.com you can find a couple of threads in the general forum and retrace the process that we went through.
I wish you guys luck if you decide to persue this. I’d also be interested in trading an Alabama coin for a Wisconsin one when you get them!
