    Wow! Thanks for all of the kind remarks. We greatly enjoy this sport and look forward to meeting many more cachers on the trails. The ones we have met so far have been a pleasure!

    We enjoy the cemetery caches and are working on a couple of hides in our area. We like the WCC series because we can ID them as such. It looks like there are 578 listings with “Spirit Quest” in the title, most of which are in IN. Perhaps we should participate.

    in reply to: How many in a day? #1871731

    Our best day has been 42 in 10 hours doing some of the Eau Claire caches with the HBZ series (we did not DNF Stereogenesis) 😉

    Typically we get around 20-25 when we go out. 42 about killed us but 20 or so seems to be just about right for us. Heck, we’re happy if we just get a chance to give Mathman a hard time! 😛

    I used to do a bit of commercial photography and would be glad to help. I will need additional info, however, to make sure you get exactly what you want.

    Thanks, Team Deejay. Hadn’t thought about just saving it as a JPEG and pasting it in (something about my head in a dark chasm :). However, if you would like to update your GC.com WI county map automatically every time you add a new county to your WGA profile, use the html link. You shouldn’t have to edit your GC.com profile again to keep that map current.

    in reply to: county map #1770283

    Try this, it worked for us:

    Right click your county map on your WGA profile

    Select the Copy Image Location

    Add this to your profile:

    <IMG
    src=”

    Paste the info from WGA after the src=”

    At the end of the html, add

    it should look something like this:

    <IMG
    src=”http://wi-geocaching.com/modules.php?name=State_County_Stats&_tab=map&u=10000&r=101

    hope that helps

    in reply to: Hi, not exactly "new" but new to here #1770027

    It is a pleasure to welcome you to the group. It was very nice to meet you in person, Birdin’ and we hope we get a chance to meet Trekkin” as well!

    We agree this is a great time to grab these caches if you don’t have access to a suitable watercraft. We’ve done 5 similar ones in the past couple of weeks and they are a blast! We are now planning on heading towards Germantown before the weather turns warm again. Didn’t realize there were 3 more in that direction. Thanks for the tip, lagrac.

    Congratulations and all the best to everyone! Looks like we are in great hands!

    in reply to: Central WI #1750333

    We are slowly trying to increase the number of caches in Central WI. We noticed a lack and decided just to place some ourselves to provide incentives for other cachers to come to Marshfield.

    in reply to: serial to usb ports #1769438

    We also purchased a serial to USB converter. We had to install the converter as a seperate device before loading our device drivers. Also, the converter will only work in the USB port it was originally set up on, you can not plug it into just any com port. We are running XP with service pack 2.
