Crayons! Did anybody mention crayons??? I just checked one of my ammo boxes. Someone had put two 12-count boxes of crayons in it and some unsupervised kids or inconsiderate adults must have dumped them out rummaging through it 🙄 I may have to go back and tape the boxes shut cuz they won’t stay put in those flimsy little boxes. ARGHHH! And say, don’t those things melt in the hot summer sun? I seem to remember that happening once to my daughter’s crayons. Sorry for venting…did I mention that I hate crayons 😡

My daughter bought me a GC for Christmas a couple of years ago…my first one. It ended up in the hands of a newbie in Texas last summer and hasn’t moved since despite several increasingly belligerent e-mails…not even a response. I bought two of the 2008 geocows and decided that their mission is to stay in Wisconsin…maybe WI cachers are more considerate??? So far, so good.
I also have several TB’s on the road, of which a couple have disappeared…tried tracking via the logs with no luck. But I was assured by one cacher whose TB had gone missing that it miraculously reappeared after two years of MIA and not to give up hope. My Packermobile TB has visited NFL stadiums in Baltimore and Seattle, and has recently been placed in Indianapolis…football fans are great[:D]
I think I’ll stick with TB’s in the future though. They do seem to have a longer life.
I love seeing and moving trackables, because each one seems to have a story…an adventure to tell of the places it’s been. It’s interesting to read the missions, the logs, and to add to the adventure[:D]

A little common courtesy….when a “You’re welcome” is the appropriate response to “Thank you”, instead you get a “No problem.” HUH???? I must be behind on the times 🙁

A cache repair kit with log sheets, some of which are pre-cut for micros, along w/geocaching disclaimer slip, short pencils, 35-mm film cannisters, scissors, and pencil sharpener, along with the aforementioned baggies and duct tape.
And of course, lots of bright yellow smiley stickers[:D][:D][:D]

And the Green Bay area is a great place to start caching. There’s a lot of great caches around…hope you like to solve puzzles, climb trees, and have good eyes for those micros and nanos. The best way to learn is to get out and find. Happy hunting[:D]

Kamic and I only drove down for the day on Saturday but would surely have liked to try the night caches…maybe next year. We did only a couple of the temps because unfortunately I couldn’t download them to my Lowrance SD card. But we had a blast…it was especially great meeting and talking to so many of you that are passionate about the game. And thanks to the organizers…your effort was outstanding and very much appreciated[:D]
