Am glad I read this post yesterday…discovered I was only a short distance away from Vilas County’s oldest…Big Arbs Ruins GCD8E. I made the find today before heading home from our week at Star Lake. TFTC 🙂

I abandoned my wife to go caching yesterday morning…found an old ammo box placed in 2001.
But we went fishing this morning and she had a blast catching tons of little bluegills. Dinner this evening at the Boathouse in Minocqua…a yearly tradition 🙂 🙂

I generally agree the log should be signed. I won’t tolerate armchair logging but I know who HH is referring to and that doesn’t bother me cuz I know and trust they’ve been there. Some individuals play the game a little differently…in the end it’s just a game.

Spending a week at Star Lake again…we’ve been doing this for a number of years during the third week of June to celebrate our anniversary. #48 on Wednesday 🙂

Copperfest weekend in Oconto…still the birthplace of western civilization. The city is celebrating its sesquicentennial this year but its strange that the fireworks have been cancelled. The reason given is that there’s no safe place to hold it…so all those places it’s been held in the past are no longer viable???

I see some early birds arrived for the WGA campout today…should have driven up to visit but had yard work to complete and packing to do for the fishing trip to Lake Vieux Desert. Winter underwear and rain gear were included 🙁
