      I stand corrected…the Happy Hodag is holding an event at Old Chicago on Dec. 31. That would be a great opportunity to meet some of the area’s cachers.

          I received a log from a cacher that discovered one of my trackables under her computer desk back in June. It had disappeared 5 years ago. Today, 6 months later, she logged that she’s moving it…finally…to Hawaii 🙂

            Look for notices of any geocaching events held in Green Bay…good opportunities to meet some of the local cachers. I don’t think there’s anything scheduled in the near future but check the Events tab here in the forums occasionally. I’m from Oconto and get to GB occasionally but I’ve found most of the caches there and don’t do much caching there any more. I did most of my caching alone when I first started out…was nice to go out on the spur of the moment. There was always a sense of satisfaction of making the find then that I don’t always have when going out with friends now.

                  Cache of the Month and Favorites are both ways of promoting quality caches. I don’t believe that’s too much of a good thing.
