Ack! More snow in the forecast??? I haven’t even gotten home to remove the last snow yet!

We picked a poor morning to drive to our daughter’s…40 mph most of the way to Wausau. The roads improved considerably after that. Whew! Time to color Easter eggs with the grandkids 🙂

I decided that today would be a good day to put out another cache, this one in the same park as my first find.
Is this the puzzle cache that I supposedly inspired?

I still haven’t found a link/site for TB mission statements.
There is a link to print a TB info sheet on the trackable page on Geocaching.com.
Not sure if that satisfies your needs.
Otherwise I have created my own one that I use to create and then laminate.
I don’t personally need the statement…would like one available for other/new cachers to access. If there’s one on the Geocaching.com website I can’t find it. I found a reproducible one years ago…don’t remember where. Maybe it was on the WGA website but things have disappeared off here over the years.

I hadn’t seen the ‘car hanger’ one before…cool idea 🙂

Northwoods Tom and Sandman’s links still work above.

I want to refresh this page for those looking for reproducible log sheets. Wasn’t there also someplace in the forums for creating Trackable mission statements?

Must be how a teacher feels?
Oh, no! Just how a retired teacher feels…you wouldn’t know. 🙂Oconto...the birthplace of western civilization:)

Ditto. My area is pretty well cached out…so to speak. I’m not going to go running off an hour or two in any direction to search for a FTF. Although I was pretty lucky on our February stay on Padre Island, TX…two of them popped up a short distance from our condo. Even at that, I didn’t immediately rush out to get them…apparently nobody else in the area felt the urge either…they were still there a day later.
I’m glad the Planetary Pursuit is getting me out of the house too and back into caching mode a little. Winter definitely puts a damper on that. Of coarse, it also means I need to get out and do cache maintenance…dang!Oconto...the birthplace of western civilization:)
I thought I’d update this part of the forum with some of the best caches I’ve found in this part of the state in the recent past. Last fall I completed the Catwalk Series by WI Hibiscus, GC738RD, between Townsend and Wabeno…great autumn colors and a wonderful exhilarating hike through a very scenic area. Over in Door County, there are a number of fun caches…Scope Out Nature, GC7519Y, in Sturgeon Bay…Labzone’s Everyday Heroes GC6AYRG, Twisted Metal GC4HKG6, and Mission Control GC5RCDC…and Brussels Two’s Uncopyrightable-Brussels Style GC566TM, Well, well, well-This is an Amazing Cache GC53DGQ, and A Hole in One GC3GF75. Most of these are “gadget caches” and I can’t go without adding Icy Paws gadget cache in Appleton…Geocacher’s Playground GC78P01. Or the Wizard of OC’s Dorothy Gale V2.0 GC5R4C2 in Oconto. They’ve made geocaching very fun for me. Thanks to all for your ingenuity, imagination, and creativity. Be sure to check them out if you’re in the area 🙂

Got 4 souvenirs but didn’t get credit for 2 mystery caches and 1 multi due to a glitch in their system…it’s since been corrected and 2 more souvenirs popped up on my profile this morning 🙂 A good start but it’s going to get a little more difficult from here on out.

The website was so-o-o-o slow loading…and so-o-o-o slow getting to the forums…and so-o-o-o slow getting to this page 🙁
I think I’m done roaming through it for the day. Time for a nap 🙂

Changes are great, but updates are necessary to keep alive and an accurate COTM. I just noticed the Winner’s Map is not updated. I doubled a March 2018 nomination for GC6DHKV” rel=”nofollow”>https://coord.info /GC6DHKV Here’s Lookin’ At You Kid in Mercer, WI. I doubled checked the map because I was sure it was a winner. So I nominated it again. Well, well, well — This was a winner in Nov 2016 so the winner’s map may be at least 1 1/2 years behind?
It’s far easier to look at the Winner’s Map to see the visual, at-a-glance, winner’s instead of scrolling through a long list of previous winners over the many years the COTM has been awarded.
Perhaps Update First as a priority before changes are made?
Not a bad idea. Also the list of winners only goes back to March of 2015 while the list of nominees goes all the way back to 2003!
