        What a gorgeous weekend to be outdoors! I went for a long walk through town yesterday…pretty quiet. I can guess where everybody was? 🙂

          I haven’t hunted the deer gun season in several years…have found that having metal hips makes sitting in the cold unbearable. I much prefer the bow season…shot a nice buck the second day of season so there’s venison in the freezer:) But have fun out there…hope you stay warm.

                I bet it can’t match the number of walnuts that fell from my Black Walnut tree the past few days. They squirrels can’t keep up:)

                  Congratulations, Gwyn! How exciting…and with fall migrations starting, birders like you must be anxious to be out and about with your binocs.
                  We traveled across the state to visit the grandkids this weekend…the color was absolutely awesome. I don’t remember them being this vibrant in recent years. Hope everyone has a chance to experience it soon 🙂

                    I had determined not to host a Community Event due to the pandemic and then changed my mind…started planning for mid-October. Now I’m reversing coarse again…the Governor’s decision to extend the mandate not withstanding, things have started hitting too close to home to continue. It would have been fun but… 🙁

                      I echo everyone’s sentiments…camping in the fall. I usually camp for the fall picnic anyway but have never camped in the spring.

The numbers in town have really spiked in the past two weeks…am almost afraid to step outside.                           There should be a law against hiding micros in the woods…ugh! I found 32-34 today…got all the Wonders of the World. Am glad they got me out and caching again…it’s been a dry spell.

                            I have done so-o-o little caching this spring/summer! I like the idea of souvenirs…it gets me back out there. I think I’ll run to GB today and look for a couple to get me going again. It’s also gotten me started in planning out a Lab Adventure for Oconto. I received notice for hosting a Community Event but I just can’t get too excited about that and am not sure it’ll happen…same with the WGA’s fall picnic/campout. Sad times 🙁

                              You need to add the Adventure Lab app to your cell phone. There are two in Appleton and one in High Cliff S.P. near you.

                                I just received notification to create an Adventure Lab…cool! I have some thoughts…will plan it out soon. The grandkids will be in town this weekend though 🙂
