Just checked Weather.com, 35 degrees Saturday night. Glad we bought a new tent last year rated for winter camping and 0 degrees.
That’s good to know, Bill. If it gets too chilly in my camper, I may snuggle in with you 😆

The windshield of my geo-Jeep is more than a little cluttered too…but it’s a “badge of honor” 8)

Did this a couple of years ago too…came in on a backroad from the west for some of them. which I don’t recommend…mark your vehicle on your gps if you do and plan on bushwacking. You might want to contact the CO and see if they are all still in play.

What an awesome log! Now I wish I could go do that cache.
The Fall Picnic would be an excellent time…fall colors usually peak in that area by the end of September…and that is an absolutely awesome spot to soak them in 8)

Not to throw a wrench in the works, but I thought we couldn’t place caches in Atzatlan, due to the archeological significance of the site. Has anyone contacted the DNR about specific approval for this site? I’ve never had anyone even try to submit a cache there.
Copper Culture State Park is archeologically significant too but I was allowed to place one there as long it remained along a trail not in a sensitive area…someone should contact the DNR park manager at Atzatlan to see if this might not apply there too.

Happy Birthday to all the August birthdays:
1 * Accept the fact that some days you’re the pigeon, and some days you’re
the statue! 😯
2 * Always keep your words soft and sweet, just in case you have to eat
them. 🙄
3 * Always read stuff that will make you look good if you die in the
middle of it. 8)
4 * Drive carefully… It’s not only cars that can be recalled by their
Maker. 🙂
5 * If you can’t be kind, at least have the decency to be vague. 😆
6 * If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was
probably worth it. 😀
7 * It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a
warning to others. 😥
8 * Never buy a car you can’t push. 😯
9 * Never put both feet in your mouth at the same time, because then you
won’t have a leg to stand on. 😕
10 * Nobody cares if you can’t dance well. Just get up and dance. 😀
11 * Since it’s the early worm that gets eaten by the bird, sleep late. 🙂
12 * The second mouse gets the cheese. 😯
13 * When everything’s coming your way, you’re in the wrong lane. 😯
14 * Birthdays are good for you. The more you have, the longer you live. 8)
16 * Some mistakes are too much fun to make only once. 😛
17 * We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty
and some are dull. Some have weird names and all are different colors, but
they all have to live in the same box. 😕
18 * A truly happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery on a detour. 8)Oconto...the birthplace of western civilization:)
Announcement over the supermarket’s PA system: “Somebody’s husband is down in aisle 5.” Here’s the rest of the story:
A husband and wife are shopping in their local supermarket. The husband picks up a case of Budweiser and puts it in their cart.
“What do you think you’re doing?” asks the wife.
“They’re on sale, only $10 for 24 cans” he replies.
“Put them back, we can’t afford them” demands the wife. They carry on with their shopping.
A few aisles farther on, the woman picks up a $20 jar of face cream and puts it in the basket.“What do you think you’re doing?” asks the husband.
“It’s my face cream. It makes me look beautiful,” replies the wife.
Her husband retorts: “So does 24 cans of Budweiser and it’s half the price.”That’s him lying face down and unconscious in on Aisle 5.

There are two logs for that date…didn’t see anything on either of them, Jim.

I’m part of the current 19% of the “hooey” vote. What’s to prevent someone from going out on the 1st of August, grabbing 31 p & g’s, and logging one a day for the month of August just to say they got all the souvenirs 🙄

Here’s a big “ATTA GIRL”, Deb! Congratulations on a great milestone cache. [8D]
