Still hoping to get there on time…will be getting on the road by 1:00-ish. I’m looking at a 3 hour drive…should leave me time to get the camper set up at the park and still go pontooning 😀

Welcome to world of trackables! Yours is an experience shared by many, including myself. About 1/2 of mine are missing, several in the hands of cachers who’ve failed to follow through. I’ve sent notices to them too…several times…two or three times a year…with no response. It certainly is frustrating, but hang in there. I’ve heard that every once in a while, they suddenly start moving again. That hasn’t happened to mine, but one always hopes. Good luck.

I think it was during my 2nd hour math class that another teacher popped her head in and told me to turn on the TV. We were all dumbstruck by what we saw…and then it happened again! The silence was so thick, you could have cut it with a knife. The rest of the planned teaching day was lost to the events that unfolded and transpired. It’s difficult to explain to 5th graders what could foster so much hate. But they were able to witness courage and fortitude that will live with them their whole lives…a terrible lesson that one hopes will not be repeated.

Part of what I enjoy about geocaching is planning, researching, and designing a new cache…I get a great amount of satisfaction out of that. The comments are a bonus…but something other than TFTC would be nice. So when I log a good cache, I try to convey my appreciation to the owner and hope others would do the same for me.

Seems to me I’ve been there too…went with Barry and Todd300 for one of Todd’s milestones…a great cache site. Congratulations on the recent milestones…1K next month??? 8)
