That would be great sandlanders!
CJ, I guess I haven’t figured that part out yet. You wouldn’t want to do a novel, besides, you’ll want to have info still to cover for upcoming editions. But you’d want it long enough to cover your topic. Good point, I should probably think of that…

Thanks Hacks! 🙂
CJ, that would be great! Would the 10th be too soon for you?

We like cemetery hides. My husband has always enjoyed walking through cemeteries, looking at the cool head stones and wondering about the people buried there. But I agree, cemetery caches should not be difficult hides and they should not be by the head stones.

So this isn’t a state park but I really liked the Spearhead Point campground in the Mondeaux Flowage. It is in a part of the Chequamegon National Forest, but then I like the National Parks System.

When I was in SC checking out caches I saw several that warned of alligators. You won’t have to worry about that here. But the Mosquitos can be almost as bad.

Lacknothing should get an award for moving bugs andputting lots of miles on them.

Wow, I think that Hack1of2 covered your questions and then some. They’re very helpful like that! So I’ll just say welcome back to WI. 🙂

I just did an indoor cache at the welcome center. We’ll see if we find anymore. There’s probably 3 or 4 inches now and it’s slowing down but but done yet.

And now I’m wondering how this snow is going to affect our caching.

I don’t know if I’m an expert, I haven’t thoroughly explored all of our state parks, probably not quite half of them. But Harrington Beach SP is an easy drive from where you live and it is beautiful! The shoreline looks like the ocean only it’s not salt water. The quarry lake is also very pretty. I know that there’s a campground there.
Rocky Arbor SP is a pretty small park but it’s near the Dells and all of the attractions there. The rock formations there are really pretty! There aren’t many caches there but it’s an easy drive to lots of caches by Lake Delton, the Dells or Devil’s Lake.
We did a small sampling of the SP’s up in Door County a few years back and they were all very beautiful but I hear they can be crowded when you don’t go in March, like we did.
The park where the campout was last year, Governor Dodge, was really nice and there was lots of caching!

Somebody needs to buy this book and then turn it into a travel bug when they’re done reading it.

What a great cache experience for a milestone. Wow, you’re 3/4 of the way to 10k!

Congratulations to all who made the expedition today!
