Oh the woes of the short geocacher!
I just had my mom, that’s right MY MOM!, ask on my cache page if she had to come and sign the log on my challenge cache since other people from around the country may meet the requirements but may not want to travel. Trying to phrase the right response was challenging because it was my mom. I couldn’t believe it!

While I can certainly understand your frustration and that’s great that you’re trying to find a solution to the problem, I must admit that I’ve written the wrong date down before. Who hasn’t gotten the date mixed up from time to time? Sometimes it’s not so much as intentional as it is just being careless. I’m a preschool teacher so if I have a day off and don’t get to do “calendar time” I may have any possible way of knowing the date! 😉

Wow, your notification radius must be huge! How far are the Hacks willing to drive for a FTF? 😉 Hopefully one of our reviewers can shed some light on the subject.

Thanks for the tips everyone. Last summer I had a nasty case of poison ivy that eventually got infected and I had to go on anti-B’s so I was planning on being extra careful this summer. I didn’t realize it was already time to be careful!
