Thanks everyone! Especially thanks to Zuma with so many recommendations. I really appreciate it! I was in the middle of researching which caches I wanted to do in Eau Claire when I discovered Zuma’s Busy Day Challenge (and Icon challenge) and that got me distracted planning out a day where I could meet those requirements. I just gotsta do it! 😉 I think on my best day I’ve done 5 different kinds so I need to start from scratch. Fortunately, I think I’ve made a plan.
Anyway, thanks again for the recommendations. I will try and cook up a plan and get some caching done this weekend. I could also possibly do Thur or Fri morning if a group wanted to get together.

I started that series this summer but it turned out to be hot, humid and the skeeters were voracious. So when a thunderstorm rolled in we decided to call it quits after about a half dozen or so. I hope you enjoy Hawaii! 🙂

Congratulations John and Shirley! I’m so sorry that I ended up having to cancel and couldn’t be there for your milestone. But I can at least wish you congratulations on here. And what a great one to conquer for your milestone. I hope that you are recovering from your concussion.

We have a bear up on our property up north. So far we haven’t run into problems but I’m always a little nervous when we walk the property, especially with the kids. I think my husband likes the excuse to bring his handgun along.

I saw that poem as it was just above one that I had done this weekend. This poem is excellent, it’s like a combination of two things I love: geocaching and Dr. Seuss!

Congratulations on 5k! That cache is on my watchlist so I got to read your log. Glad you found it even with all those obstacles! Also glad you weren’t eaten by all those critters.
