Yea! Thank you Black Cat, who resized my image for me. I appreciate it. 🙂
So NOW my avatar is a picture of a beautiful spot in Glacier National Park. We stopped along the side of the road to enjoy the view. One of the crosses marked the grave of a hiker who loved the area. The other cross marks the grave of a member from one of the local tribes, sadly I can’t remember which one. I love the mountains so this is why I chose this picture.
Oh the woes of the short geocacher!
All this talk about avatars made me want to change mine. But no matter what I do I can’t get my picture small enough. Every time I’ve done this before the website has resized it for me. Now I have no avatar at all. 🙁

How exciting to hear of a TB success story instead of the usual MIA.

Well it’s a good thing because that does not sound like a very interesting challenge to me!
And speaking of challenges. I honestly kind of forgot about them. I guess they just don’t matter that much to me. How about the rest of you? Now that they’ve been around for a few weeks – are you doing them?

Thank you for posting this! We are going to the Dells that weekend anyway so we will happily go a little early for a CITO event.

On a whim I added a handful of small plastic bags to my caching bag. I have already replaced two ripped bags to keep those logs dry! They don’t take up much room in the bag and it could save the CO a trip for a wet log.

I think that any business named “Hallucination Info Services” has got to be good.

Ah yes, IF you can find them. 😉 Congratulations to Ranger Boy! I have enjoyed the few caches of his that I’ve done and even enjoyed reading about the other ones that I’m too afraid to even attempt. I have been watching the GLID logs and was so disappointed to be out of town this weekend and miss out on all the fun. I loved reading about how he scared everyone by coming out of the bushes in the dark! Way to go on #600!

Oh I thoroughly enjoyed that picture, thanks! It made me feel much better. And I’ve gotten plenty of that stuff on me too! Love the duct tape shoes, way to find a way to enjoy the outdoors.

You guys are great, thanks! 😆 And I really don’t think that this picture does justice to my predicament. There have to be at least 500 of those suckers on there. And I have a feeling that may be an underestimation. And the picking them off by hand thing results in tiny thorns in my fingers. Ugh! I think I may resort to CJ’s knife suggestion. For now the pants are in a pile in my bedroom to deal with when I have a little more time.

Who cares about the burrs, did you find the cache?
😆 That’s the important question, isn’t it? Yes I did, thankfully SEVENCARDS gave me some help on his cache. The worst part is that I got the most burrs on me while I was looking in the wrong place after not understanding part of his multicache. I think I could feel less shame if I at least was in the right place for it. 😳
Now off to deal with the “mini spike balls” as they have been dubbed by my 6 year old.

Congratulations John and Kim! You guys are really racking up the numbers. That’s excellent! And we’re planning a trip to HI next summer. Looks like some really great hiking and caching over there.

I already logged it as complete. And BTW, my marshmellow rocked! 🙂

There don’t seem to be many avatars with a photo of the person so I’ve been thinking of changing mine. But I just love this spot so much that I can’t seem to bear to. My avatar is a picture of me posing in front of the Grand Prismatic Spring in Yellowstone. This is the most amazing sight I have ever seen in real life. It takes your breath away! I hiked up a steep (but thankfully short) hill to get this view and I’m so glad I did. This is also on my geocaching.com profile and my facebook page. I may get tired of it one day but for now I just love to look at this amazing geothermal feature.

Congratulations! I hope that you enjoy Hartman Creek as well.
