Thank you both. 🙂 And yes, Renee, I’m sure it wouldn’t be too inconvenient to make some sort of swap. Hopefully in the next day or two I will figure out our plans for the weekend and let you know if I need help. It might be good for my kids to learn how to do things like set up the tent and all that. Fortunately they are old enough it shouldn’t be too hard.

No, I was not the one who originally requested it. I’m not sure how long the request was there but I looked at it for a few days before deciding to go out there and get it. I think that when I was trying to report the mission as completed I recorded it as a request for a new mission. Oops! Sorry, it’s my first time! I don’t remember exactly what the error message was though. I believe it was just html codes. Then since I got the error message I was looking again to re-do it and then I think that I posted it in the right place the second time but still got an error message. After that I decided to give up and quit trying to record it. Sorry for all the work Black Cat!

Yea, I was trying to submit an active missions report but twice it came up with errors after I submitted it.
Yes, I also posted a note with my found it log. I probably shouldn’t be too worried since the cache has already been archived.
Maybe I shouldn’t be trying this sort of thing! 😳

How long does it typically take for gc.com to email the PQ? It was about half a day the first time I tried it. Is that normal? ❓

Nice job John! Not sure if it was the size of the video or if my computer is acting funny but it took a long time to load. So I just paused it and let it load before watching it. You’ve got some great pictures! I’ll need to check your gallery for some of these great locations. And hey, I even made it into one of your pictures! I recognized a lot of faces and places so that was pretty fun. I even recognized some from pretty far away! You’ve gotten a lot of great caching done in the past year.

So when I first used the new maps I could still click on the cache symbol and get the white-quote pop-up to link to the cache page. Now that isn’t working for me. Is it working for other people? I hope so, how could you look at the cache information otherwise?

We just got ours, my first real GPSr! We got the GPSMAP 62S. Now I have to figure out what I’m doing because I don’t know what to do with it.

I know what you mean. I keep emailing my mom with my ideas for earthcaches for her to create but she doesn’t seem too interested. I think I may just send her out to get coordinates and pictures for some of my ideas and I may just create them anyway. Plus, I visited so many places in RMNP over and over again growing up and I would love log the current EarthCaches as finds. But that would be cheating so I don’t do it.

Maybe you could at least try to PM them to see if they would change their log date. It probably wouldn’t come to anything since they aren’t active. But it might be worth a shot. 💡

Party pooper! 😛 Just kidding. 😆 Good point, I had read that too and I wouldn’t want to cover something that has been overdone. But considering the fact that there isn’t much around as far as EC’s go, my options are wide open. I’m sure I can come up with something and maybe when we are there others can give suggestions as well. I very much enjoy EarthCaches, although some are definately better than others.
