I totally hear you LC! I’m s shorty too. I hold up my phone to take pictures into high knots all the time! Or into the rafters of a shelter. It’s nice to not have to climb up into the rafters unless necessary.
Oh the woes of the short geocacher!
I like them all if they’re in a good location!

I guess I live in the land of clear water, except that the water doesn’t look very clear to me!

I sometimes take selfies, I think because it promotes a casual and fun image of where you’re visiting. And it’s just so easy to upload them to facebook. But I also have my real camera there taking my nicer photos that sometimes include people, sometimes just the view. But I also offer to talk to take pictures for people all the time.
That stupid selfie stick is pretty annoying. When we were touring National Parks this summer so many tourists had them. Do you know how long they’d have to stand in front of the gorgeous view trying to fit everyone in the picture and get the background just right? If I could have just taken it for them it would have been over with in a few seconds. Then the next group could quickly get into place!

So I would definitely suggest going behind the Grand Prismatic springs and climbing up one of the bluffs so that you can get an aerial view. We never made it to this virtual, but I believe that this is the trail you take to it. GCJW3Z ASo you take the first parking area south of the Grand Prismatic Spring and then take the trail that heads north from there. It was a crushed rock path when we were there. Then head up one of the hills on some unofficial trails. Although, it may be snowing, which will make it difficult to climb up there. You just never know what the weather will be like up there.
The obvious choice for a place to visit is Old Faithful, you can see the most stuff in one area there. We also really loved this area: GC7A91

Also, the travel bug race link on the website is still linking to last year’s race.
