Maybe we could have people write their cell numbers down if they wanted to get the hourly hints via text? That wouldn’t help with all people.
Oh the woes of the short geocacher!
I love Willow Falls! So beautiful!!!

That would have been helpful for the one that I made that looked like a pipe bomb. 😉

Wow, my picture of Little manitou falls is much different. It was so foggy!

Is anyone else having a problem registering their bug? It keeps saying that there’s no bug found on geocaching.com with my number. And yet when I search for it myself it’s there.

Never thought about it, but then again I don’t know what OCB means.
OCB=Original Can of Beans
That thing travels around to events and people gawk at it like in a museum. It doesn’t do anything for me, since I can see beans any time I go to a grocery store, but some enjoy the history of it.

Becca… how long did the Copper Falls WGA cache take? It looks a bit too far for Linda to trek to. Advice?
I believe that we spent about two hours on the trail. It’s a loop so you could walk directly there and head back and make it shorter. We also made a slight detour for one other cache and we lingered by the falls for a while so if you didn’t do those things it could go quicker. It’s .85 miles as the crow flies (more when walking) from the parking to the cache, though. There are some ups and downs and rocks and roots but for the most part it’s a fairly flat and well-maintained trail. Awesome walk!

Found GC473 as my first cache today.
Wow, that’s an oldie! I’m hoping to find a 2001 cache next weekend on the way home from the picnic.

A lot of driving for a day trip but our visit to Copper Falls was excellent! What a beautiful park! I think I’ll plan a camping trip to that area, including Apostle Islands, next summer.
Two weeks ago we went to Rib Mountain and my camera battery died. I forgot to charge it in between so now I have visited two beautiful parks with only my lame cell camera! It’s fairly tragic.
My calves are burning!

It has long been my goal to finish up the series with my final SPS cache at Pattison for the WGA Picnic. Right now I have Pattison and Copper Falls to find yet and the picnic is in one week! I have managed to talk my family into going on a day trip to Copper Falls tomorrow. Why didn’t I go this summer?! I’m hoping that the fall colors have started and it will be a pleasant trip. Getting closer…
And on a related note, several more teams have finished up the series now. Congratulations! Check out the finder list.

Very cool! Will you be bringing your collection to events like the OCB?
