Next time I’m in town I’ll try and give them a try.
Oh the woes of the short geocacher!
Where is everyone. I was out working in the yard all day. Came in to check on what was new here and nuthin.
I was out geocaching of course!

Oh joy. I realized that the heel pain I’ve been experiencing the past few days is plantar fascitis. That took Trekkin’ right out of running for literally years. Good news….yoga will be good for it. Ugh. Sandal season is not really the time to have to use gel inserts, either.
Roll your heel and arch on a cold pop can. It worked wonders for me!

A very merry un-birthday to Mr. Greenthumb! I think I missed saying happy birthday on the real day, sorry!

Sounds like it’s time for a new dentist.

An excellent goal!

And as soon as the website updates the badges, I’ll have earned a second one. Woot woot! I volunteered to run a table on geocaching in Cornell, just across the river from Brunet Island SP. Perfect!

I need to head back down there so I can put in some more time searching.

A pen exploded on me.

It completely depends on what’s going on. Yesterday I stopped to look for a cache on a bridge on my way to an event. I had a little time to kill but not a lot, so I searched for a while but didn’t feel like I could devote too much time. I was fine with claiming a DNF, it was still a nice place to stop and look out over the river.
If a cache has a low D rating and I can’t find it then I don’t worry about it too much. I mean, it’s probably gone and spending an hour there would be silly. If it’s a higher D rating then I assume that I need to spend more time there. I can’t even tell you how many, many, many hours I’ve spent at GC3ZMA7, although half the fun in that one is bragging rights on the pain and suffering of the search.

Good to know, I need to avenge my previous DNF.
