I wish that I could go but I am volunteering to run a geocaching booth at the Cornell Outdoor Ed-venture today. I looked at travel times and it looks like I’d get to RAC after it was over. 🙁 But I hope all goes well, I’d love to visit that park again!

I used my cedarcide yesterday and no ticks on me today, although my daughter had two on her and I sprayed her as well. But everyone else had a few on them.

We managed to find some trash in the woods today and clean it up. The grossest was the 3 big bags of kitty litter…used kitty litter…that was left out there.

I have a badge! I have a badge! Only took me 37 finds to finally finish one biome. On Easter Sunday we visited a park on our way home and finished off the southern savanna.

Yes, I have 2 EarthCaches on the same property. One is a standard – read the sign in the parking lot and answer the questions – type, the other requires an easy hike of about a mile with several waypoints to make observations. I believe the first one gets found about 3x as often. LOL

I am reading this book right now. It will be good motivation for me to finish it by the campout and then donate it to the silent auction:

Just want to note that this book is for adults and not children.

I’ve actually done two of that cache. Lobsters9494 has one in Saukville and I found one in Colorado Springs.
