Probably because the last look was a DNF a year ago.
Oh the woes of the short geocacher!
When did we get the little icons for book of faces, etc? Just noticed them today.
Good question! And I don’t have one, that could be a good thing.

We have combined snorkeling and caching, but mostly on our trip to Hawaii.
Also, rock climbing and caching.

I like the badges idea. It doesn’t cost anything except the time of the designer but it’s a nice way to display your commitment to the project.
“Dividing the state into “zones” similar to the Cache of the Month zones.” – It was also suggested that you get additional points for caches being — miles from home. I like this idea possibly better than the quadrant idea. It would require players to put in their home town on the website, but if they aren’t comfortable with that they just wouldn’t get the extra points. It may encourage people to reach a little farther for the lonelies.
I also like the “10 most wanted” list. An additional number of points if you visited the loneliest of lonelies? Or maybe a separate stat on the leader board?

I was thinking the same thing today when I posted about my dog trackable. 🙂

Check out GC30FFX and the ones by it. Not exactly a streak but it’s something.
You could alwaysealways hide one, Eau Claire doesn’t have many challenge caches. 😉

I have three kids so I often have scheduling conflicts but if there are no baseball games or high school activities, I would happily make the trip! It was nice to meet you yesterday, it would be fun to get together and chat at your event.

Ever been caching in West Bend?

I think I was in Very West Bend
And I have a second cousin that lives in West Bend. We must be a bendy family.
Funny, I taught my cousin how to cache this summer. I wonder if you’ll end up meeting her some day out caching. How weird would that be!

I spotted a Snowy Owl on our way home from the LCG event. Unfortunately, I IDed it just as we got close, we were on Highway 10 and the next turnaround spot by then was almost Marshfield. So…no photo. At least I can claim my Snowy Owl sighting for the year. I also spotted an Osprey south of the Mead and then got a nice look at a Northern Rough Legged Hawk south of Marshfield. Better luck with the birds than the caches, actually!
We spotted what was most likely an eagle’s nest as we went and visited Gilligen’s Island.

A boy asked my daughter to the formal dinner at her school. I am so not ready for my daughter to be dating!!!
